As far as I know he's the 3rd string RB and was returning kicks last year.

Haha I chose him in the 3rd round of a fantasy draft his rookie year, picking him as a big sleeper who would go for 1200 yards+, well that wasn't such a great move, lol.

I actually thought he did pretty well against Oakland this preseason. But then again our Run D is nothing special.

Arrington has vastly improved from last year, hes finding holes much better and hes solidified a spot as a kick returner along side Breaston. He will probably be 3rd String running back still because Shipp lost around 15 pounds and has been proving himself this offseason.

What happened to J.J. Arrington? IMO, he was never that good in the first place. I remember watching a lot of J.J. highlights prior to his selection by Arizona thinking "wow, that hole was the size of Rhode Island". I had him pegged as a late day 1 guy.

The fact is Arrington was never that good. In college he was part of a spread offence and never had to do much running between the tackles. Fact is Arizona should have drafted Marion Barber or Brandon Jacobs instead (both of whom were 4th round picks that year).

I can't believe this guy was starting over Lynch. Best, Lynch and Forsett are vastly superior backs to this guy.
Arrington was fast but had no shake and little power.

Arrington was a very good college player, who worked his arse off to go from JUCO ball to being a 5'6 starting RB at a major D1 program. A good story, but I guess he maxed out in college. People who discredit him now are just confused. He was a decent pro prospect who wouldve been scooped up real quick if Arizona passed on him
