I'm going to Jamaica next week and need a good beach book or 2? You know, one that doesnt require too much thought (as I will be plastered), but a fun read. Any suggestions?

Life of Pi would be a good read considering the majority of the plot takes place on the ocean.

But for everyone reading this in Buffalo and Cleveland and everywhere else, take solace in the following: As crazy as it sounds, you're lucky. Your Mount Everest experience is still ahead of you. It's waiting, and it's glorious.- Bill Simmons

I just finished Happy Hour is for Amatuers
Really funny book, Tucker Maxish, but also offers insight into why life as a lawyer sucks the big one. Check it out if you are planning on law as a career or found Tucker Max funny, which should be everyone.

Rob, for your vacation, The Rum Diary by Hunter S Thompson is a great light read. Also, Choke, by Chuck Palahniuk, is a pretty easy read that is sure to delight. Those would be the two off my head that I would suggest. If you are looking for something a little heavier, I always recommend Blindness by Jose Saramago to anyone looking for a book to read. One of the best things Ive ever read in my entire life. Its phenomenal.

I am very happy you mentioned that book because I forgot that he was going to release that. I'll have to check up on his blog because I haven't read it in some time as well.

The Innocent Man by John Grisham. Based on a true story was absolutely brilliant.
The Colour of Law by Mark Gimenez. The book was quality but the courtroom bit at the end wasn't in enough detail.
