Alabama VS. Arkansas

Wow that was a great game. The SEC West Is looking like

1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas
4. Mississippi State
5. Auburn
6. Ole Miss

Who would have thought that?

Now where are all the guys that gave me crap when I said Bama could beat Arkansas??? On S2C's SEC preview.

Both teams looked pretty bad.

Arkansas had that game but they choked it away.

I am going to have to disagree with you 100%.

Alabama showed that its weakness is not skill in the front 7 and that it is only depth.

Arkansas showed that its weakness is a one dimensional attack.

That was one of the best games of the year so far. A bold statement.... I would expect nothing less from an LSU fan.

If I was the AD there would be no chance.

From the begining of the year before the season started I was saying Arky was going to struggle because they had too many problems in the off season.

If they don't lose Mustain and company and Monk isn't injured this would probably be a different game.

One team gave up 41 points and the other blew a 21 point lead. Arkansas can't do anything but run the ball, and Alabama couldn't stop the run.

They both looked bad. It was a hell of a game, I'll give you that much.

Alabama did stop the run in the first half. As I said in the second the lack of depth... or more so Darren Mustin's injury is what set the Arkansas running game off.

I was very impressed by both teams. Arkansas lost this game because of bad coaching while Alabama won with great coaching and Nick Saban's "4th Quarter Conditioning" offseason program.

I don't get how both teams looked bad? Maybe its because LSU is one of the top 2 teams in the country this year and you aren't used to watching other teams play. Both teams looked great and both will have highly successful seasons.

EDIT: Can I add that Arkansas started passing more on first down to keep the defense in check. That is when their running game got rolling. They are the best at what they do.... They won the SEC West last year....

Its not about LSU or anything of the sort. I didn't think either team looked very good on defense. I watched the game.

Alabama blew a 21 point lead. Arkansas gave up 41 points. Neither defense looked like anything special.

Alabama is not even close to being a great team yet. They're really solid but they're still a few years away. Arkansas is on a downswing..they can run the ball better than nearly everyone but Casey Dick really holds them back.
