This is a slam dunk with Andre Johnson being doubtful for the game. Houston's improved, but not enough to handle the Colts.

San Diego Chargers @ Green Bay Packers

I have a hard time believing that LaDainian Tomlinson, the entire team for that matter, has another poor performance. Green Bay's lack of a running game will cost them against superior defenses.

Minnesota Vikings @ Kansas City Chiefs

This game will be atrocious, with two ball control offenses slugging it out in a 9-6 like affair. In those kinds of games I give the advantage to the Arrowhead crowd. I also think Damon Huard is the better game manager than Tarvaris Jackson.

Detroit Lions @ Philadelphia Eagles*Saturday Update* I've built up the courage to pick the Lions after I saw Brian Dawkins is questionable and Lito Sheppard is doubtful. You need to be at full staff in the secondary for the Lions, who go four deep at receiver. The Eagles are a mess right now and Donovan McNabb needs to have a big game after he's talk all kinds of nonsense this week.

Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots

The Patriots are 2-touchdown favorites and I think they might even out do that. This game will be ugly fast. Does JP Losman have to be concerned that Trent Edwards is sitting behind him?

Miami Dolphins @ New York Jets

Another dud game. I think New York wins, but honestly I don't care and I wouldn't be surprised either way. This is my most wishy washy pick of the week. Home field and Zach Thomas' absence are the tie-breaker.

San Francisco 49ers @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Unless Alex Smith harnesses the ability of Joe Montana and Steve Young Pittsburgh should win this game handily. Alex Smith's inability to throw down the field is killing my Vernon Davis breakout prediction/fantasy team.

Arizona Cardinals @ Baltimore Ravens

The Cardinals offense had a rebound from a horrendous week 1, albeit against a 'meh' Seahawks defense. Baltimore should dominate the game defensively and their boring offense will plod their way to seventeen points and a win.

St. Louis Rams @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I just cannot trust St Louis' O-Line to protect Bulger, or block for Jackson. I would be amazed if Bulger made it through the whole season at this pace. Tampa Bay isn't special by any stretch of the imagination, but they are at home and play solid football.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Denver Broncos

 Jacksonville has not lived up to their talent yet again and I think anything short of the playoffs will be the end of the Jack Del Rio era. I don't expect them to go into Mile High and beat Denver, especially with that anemic offense.

The Seahawks don't have a great defense, but they are better than Cincinnati. Not to mention Seattle is notoriously difficult to defeat in that stadium. If they can slow Palmer even a little bit I think they will win.

 Can the Browns' offensive juggernaut live on? Call me a skeptic because I think Oakland's defense can stop Derek Anderson and Jamal Lewis from repeating their unexpected success. Oakland finally breaks through and gives BBD hope.

This is just too depressing to analyze.

New York Giants @ Washington Redskins

 The Redskins' offense was bad in week 1, pretty good in week 2, and now in week 3 against this abysmal Giants' defensive unit I think they look great. Washington's defense is looking more like the '05 team rather than the '06 one.

Dallas Cowboys @ Chicago Bears

I don't care how great you defense and special teams are, eventually you will have to score points and not turn the ball over. I think Dallas gets after Grossman, contains Grossman and that offense has the rare talent to actually attack the Bears' defense.

Tennessee Titans @ New Orleans Saints UPSET SPECIAL

Tennessee's defense was solid against the Colts and I think they should have no problems with a struggling Saints' unit. On offense for the Titans, I think the Titans' O-Line will have no problem dominating a weak Saints' front. Vince Young has looked alright thus far, I expect him to put on a show in his first Monday Night Football extravaganza.
