Is that it for Billy Dee? Is he still supposed to end up on the island eventually?

I seriously didn't know who Katie was for a good 30 seconds. One letter makes that much difference.

What makes everyone think they are still dead? Remember how Locke said that nothing stays buried on the island?

Ya, they definitely suffocated, but it was a great way to kill them. I think they made up the Medusa spider though.

I meant on the island, she didn't look good with black hair, but she looked very good the rest of the episode on the island.

The flashback just going to be by "Dharma" or someone within Dharma?

Likely a flashback about the DHARMA initiative and how it was started, or what it's purpose is on the island.

My crazy opinion from this episode from this scene:
Hurley describes Mr. Lashade as a "suave, smooth-talking club owner."
After discovering the episode's script among Nikki's things, Hurley is shocked to learn about Mr. LaShade's deceit and true identity as the Cobra. He describes the cobra as "this big bad guy." whose identity "has been shrouded in mystery for four seasons."
This is foreshadowing for something. There is some big bad guy that we think is good that will end up being a huge bad guy IMO. Probably one of the main characters Sawyer,Locke, doubt Jack though. I think we'll find out in season 4who it is though. Just a thought.
Does anyone remember that dream Claire had from season 1 with John Locke having black eyes? One of the first episodes.

I like that theory of someone unexpected being a "bad guy" but I don't see it being Locke or Sawyer or any of the main 815 survivors.
I think there is more to Danielle Rousseau than we realize. I think there is a definite reason as to why we have yet to see a flashback episode for her. I think she has a critical role in this season and the way the show ultimitly unfolds. There is a reason she is always lurking but never directly involved. There is a reason that the OTHERS don't seem to know of her existance, or if they do, they allow her to go about her business. Do the OTHERS have no fear that she will somehow contact Alex? Do they keep tabs on her whereabouts at all times? She is sort of a wild card on the island as she seems to know it as well as, if not better, than the OTHERS. I think the writers are saving her backstory for a very important time. Could she actually be one of the OTHERS? Could she be planted just like Ethan was? What is her reason/motive for helping the 815 survivors? She had no reason to believe her daughter was alive until Kate told her so a few episodes back.
Thoughts on Danielle? The writers are setting us up for a confrontation between Alex/Ben/OTHERS and Danielle . . .

No thoughts on her (further than what you already said), but Danielle is easily the most questionable character right now.
How long until we see Karl again? Is he just hanging around the barracks? Similarly to Danielle, he might just be sneaking around trying to see Alex. Maybe they'll run into each other and talk about Alex or do something to help the Losties.

Episode tonight. Semi-excited. But what is really getting me is the whole Charlie situation. Between DHARMA and Ben episodes at the end of the season, the Charlie death resolution has to come in somewhere. Its been about 5 episodes or so with his fate underlying the plot. There have been no flashbacks about Charlie all season, so its building up a bit.

Reports of the finale being a Ben-centric episode were greatly exaggerated.
Quote:
At the end of LOST's first season, young Walt was kidnapped at sea while Jack (Matthew Fox), Locke (Terry O'Quinn), Kate (Evangaline Lilly), and Hurley (Jorge Garcia) peered into the mysterious depths of the newly blasted-open hatch. Season two of LOST took the excitement to a whole new level as Sawyer (Josh Holloway), Jack, and Kate were abducted by the mysterious 'Others', while the hatch went into melt down mode, and who can forget the kicker with those mysterious dudes shivering in some arctic tundra somewhere, waiting for, and receiving, a signal that apparently gave away the location of the island. With season three's finale merely a couple of months away, speculation over what the LOST producers might have in store to top all of this is already become the buzz of discussion boards from coast to coast. One detail recently slipped out in the official LOST magazine that is sure to narrow down that speculation considerably.
The recent issue of LOST magazine has actually revealed who the big twist will be centered on. The LOST creative staff has an age old tradition of naming their big end of season twists. For the past two seasons, they have gone with the name of Jewish bread products to name the twists, this year they broke that tradition nick-naming the big secret 'The Snake in the Mailbox'. This revelation came from co-show runners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse in a podcast released through ABC earlier this season.
In the magazine, co-executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, are discussing an unprecedented third Jack flashback. Whether or not the entire flashback belongs to Jack or not, is unknown, but in discussing it they let slip that Jack is at the center of 'The Snake in the Mailbox'.
"...we haven't been this excited since we decided at the end of season one that Walt would be taken. This is Top Secret. It's so secret that there's a codename -- 'The Snake in the Mailbox'."
And so, what started as a discussion about a particular character's flashback inadvertently becomes confirmation that this season's major twist will, in fact, center around that character in particular. Now the big question is, after having spent some quality time with the others, having tattoos that say 'he walks among them but isn't one of them', and the looming revelation that he is Claire's brother, is there enough information to begin to infer what this mega twist might be about? Oh and don't forget the many time travel hits.

I'm very tempted to give you negative rep. There are few women on this earth hotter than Kate. Juliet is not one of them.
