Well Rousseau did mention that the smoke monster was essentially it's "security blanket" for the island.

SO that being said, if it was Jacob, I would guess that the monster could very well be "him". If the whole deal with Juliet was true, perhaps the smoke monster was going after her to make sure that their plan was going through. Which would explain the "pictures?" it took of Juliet when they were hiding in the jungle.

Such a B.A. show.

It would be a bit surprising if Jin or Sun died tonight, but it can't be ruled out.

Part of the reason I think Sun is gonna die at some point is because of the lack of time that has elapsed on the island since the first episode. Only 80-something days or so . . . they show would have to be on for another 10 seasons for Sun to deliver the baby, or we would have to have considerable jumps forward in the timeline.
