I don't get how Chris Canty can be so powerful...yet after how many years as a lineman still not constantly play with good technique...after gettign bent back he still had the power to get back into position against the strongest left side in the NFL.

Running backwards in a situation is as stupid as a QB running backwards in the backfield to avoid a sack. Once you've got the first down, there's no need to do that.
