The Messi/Barca comparison still stands. Barca has the likes of Iniesta, Xavi, Busquets, Alves, Pique, Villa, etc. etc. That doesn't mean they aren't disproportionally reliant on Messi to score the goals. I am not saying Tottenham would be disproportionally reliant on Modric, but I would rather have three very good players than just Modric in that situation.

Soccer fans are the dumbest imo. Bills fans would never expect that Belicheck would leave the Pats to come coach the Bills because the odds shortened.

Dembele was such a great buy. One of those players that just jumps out at you when you're watching his team. His work rate is off the charts

I haven't seen this goal yet, but this is why I was/am an advocate of selling one great player to buy multiple very good ones.
