Spurs need to stop conceding goals in the 85+ minute.

Now a red card. AVB is going to start getting some heat if he can't turn it around quickly.

If he went in studs first sure, but he pulled out really early. Yellow, but not a red.

Yeah. On the replay it was obviously not a red.

Refs haven't been on their game today. Questionable decisions against both sides.

3 games 2 points. At least we are living up to our reputation as horrible starters to the season.

AVB has got to get it together soon. I am a fan of his and thought his problems at Chelsea were due to the fact that the squad he inherited in no way fitted his coaching style. I am sure he has more he wants to do to Tottenham's roster to make it fit his scheme more, but Tottenham has the talent and playing style to fit his scheme even now. I still have some faith in him, but he's got to get results on the field if he wants to stay in England much longer.

Tottenham were always going to have a slow start with how long the Adebayor and Modric things dragged on. I still think they've put together a squad that'll do well for AVB and now that the roster is finalized they can actually start settling in.

No M'bia today.....that sucks. QPR still trotting out a solid XI though....they'll be fine this season.

Swansea has to be the most appealing team in the EPL to a neutral. Small and young team, making great moves while playing a fun style of soccer.

Yaya does it again. A solid performance would be nice here with Mourinho in attendance.

---------------Krul
Simpson - Saylor - Colo - Santon
Ben Arfa - Anita - Cabaye - Jonas
---------- Cisse - Ba
I'd be disappointed with anything less than a win.

Yeah, we should win. Shame Tiote is still out, but what can you do.
I wonder how long it's going to take for us to realize we don't play well in a 4-2-2 this week......

I am digging this formation, too.

Hannover are tearing Wolfsburg apart, went up 4-0 before the hour mark. They're totally making another deep run in Europe this year.

With how much Ben Arfa just does what he wants and Jonas tucks in I'm not sure how much your 4-4-2 looks like that when you're not defending. It seems actually really similar to what Hannover does except flipped, for them it's on the left where they feature their more free and attacking player with a CM on the right that turns their 4-4-2 into a 4-3-2-1 in possession. Biggest difference is you guys have two out n out strikers with Cisse n Ba, while they usually have a more ball playing second striker who plays behind the front man on a level with the LW.
