UEFA EURO 2008 DRAW
Group A
1. Switzerland
2. Czech Republic
3. Portugal
4. Turkey
Group B
1. Austria
2. Croatia
3. Germany
4. Poland
Group C
1. Netherlands
2. Italy
3. Romania
4. France
Group D
1. Greece
2. Sweden
3. Spain
4. Russia
whoa italy gets France and Netherlands in what will be the most difficult first-round group for next year's Euro Cup, easily the 'group of death' this time around.

Yeah, Group C is WITHOUT a doubt the toughest.
Italy and France were in the last WC Finals and Netherlands is a soccer superpower.
Even Romania is no pushover. They were in the same qualifying division as Netherlands and finished ahead of them.
Russia is in a easier division, but certainly not an easy one. I hope they play well.

group B is the easiest group IMO, Germany had some serious luck on their side for sure.

It's not a breeze however. This draw is not totally horrible and looks pretty even for the most part.
I think Group A will be a very difficult group as well. I'd rank them:
C
A
D
B

Well, perhaps, but don't overlook Croatia, they are very good. Poland is capable of an upset also.

Yeah, I agree with you on the order.
A, D and B groups are fairly even in strength.

croatia is a serious contender but besides that the competition is much weaker in comparison to the other groups.

Sounds reasonable, though I think Croatia is better then Poland.

I'm a bit surprised you guys are picking the Swiss to come out of the Group A.
Czech Republic is very strong and Turkey is an underrated team.
I'm acctually picking the Swiss to finish 4th in that division.

I think the Czechs and Turkey tie, while the Swiss tie the Czechs and Beat Turkey.

Picks in bold, this is who i think should get through, but the beauty of these competitions is the upsets, so expect it to be pretty different
