I liked Falling Skies.. I didn't love it. I'll watch it next season for sure though because it's good for what it is: summer TV.

I liked Falling Skies. I didn't love it, but as Splat said I thought it got much more interesting in the end. I'll watch next season as well, because like Vidae said, it's good summer TV.

Much like Alphas, although I like it much more than Falling Skies. Gary is a baller. :D

I really like Alphas alot.

When Gary pulled out his badge last week on the waitress I was laughing so hard.

As for Falling Skies my biggest beef is I really don't have a connection to or feel for any of the characters.

If one of them was to die or something I wouldn't even care.

I watched all of Falling Skies and thought it was just average. It's like the creators spent all of the money on production and CGI and not on a quality script. The writing is horrible on the show and the characters lack any real depth to them to make the viewer care about them in any way.

I couldn't disagree about the writing more. The writing on Falling Skies is not bad, and neither are the characters. There was a lot going on in every episode and there is really no main character to the series (not even Noah Wyle) so it seems jumbled, but it's mostly well put together.

I thought the writing was very good, especially the interaction between characters. The dialogue was solid too.

I couldn't get into Alphas, just seemed like an average syfy show (warehouse 13, eureka, haven etc) maybe I'll give it another chance. I think my problem with it is I started watching Misfits at the same time and that is similar but leagues better. Though it makes me said Nathan won't be on season 3, at least they are replacing him with Joe Gilgun who was awesome in This is England.
