If there was a sign and trade, no way we would add Pryz, that's a $6 million contract. We wouldnt want any part of it. They could throw in several really cheap guys to give us some depth but, that's about it.
Also, Rudy Fernandez is beyond pissed about Portland's offer to Hedo. If they sign him, he's planning on playing European basketball he said.

Are you serious. They got Zach Randolph for free. For Q Rich??? That is a steal. If other teams knew they were going to give him away for free because they got Griffin some contenders would have made better offers. I know everyone will crucify me for this but not taking into consideration his history of being a troubled player, in terms of what he brings to the floor, it isn't that much different than Chris Bosh. Zbo should never be a franchise player but as a main core piece he brings so much in terms of post scoring and rebounding. He has been one of the top 7 or so most consistent double double machines the best 8 years. He is the perfect complement for defensive minded bigs like Thabeet, Gasol, Haddadi. The only thing they need now is a true PG as Rudy G and Mayo are stud wings. Too bad they don't have cap room now to sign Dlee but that wouldn't be necessary. If you ask me there lineup looks pretty sick and I'm sure they are not done adjusting the roster. If Rudy steps into allstar status as he should and Mayo continues to be efficient on defense and shot selection this team looks real good for the future and will be very competitive in the present. Grizzlies haven't been able to say that much at all in their teams history. They really have major depth in 4 out 5 positions. Very athletic team with different dynamics. Defensive stoppers, Athletes, Slashers, scrappers, post players, etc. Add another SG and you can even rely on Conley and this team looks great.
PG:Mike Conley Jr./Marko Jaric
SG: O.J. Mayo/Sam Young
SF: Rudy ****/Demarre Carrol
PF: Zach Randolph/Hakim Warrick/Darrell Arthur

Where the heck is Rip going to end up? Go get him T'Wolves. :D Bobcats could use a 2 as well. It will be interesting to see what Dumars wants for him.

ZBo is the man.. I wish he'd get on a real team and stop ending up on teams like the Blazers, Knicks, and Clippers. Not too crazy about him being on the Grizzlies either.. but if you got him on a somewhat veteran team with a couple of scoring options ahead of him, I think he'd be just fine. Kinda like Sheed.

I hope we bring in a coach that can get us in an Uptempo style. We really don't have much Defense anymore outside of Tayshaun, so it's probably best to mask that by trying to run all game. I don't know who's left that can bring that to the team though.

To complete the trifecta.. I don't have much of a problem with the Charlie V signing. I like him enough.. but Ben Gordon just takes the most ******** shots.. It's gonna be a long 5 years. He's clutch, but ********.

Just saying they would of been better suited moving his expiring for a SG or PG as they have no depth at either position

I would be fine with it since the only center on the team right now is Kwame Brown (I think Oberto is going to be waived).

As a Bulls fan, I'm pretty glad to be rid of Ben Gordon. Very nice offensive player and we'll miss him, he was clutch as hell against the Celtics, but it'll be nice to have a 2 guard with the size to play some defense. Very amusing that he turned down the deals he did to sign a slightly larger deal in Detroit, he said all the right things but I think he either wanted out of Chicago or they had no interest at all in bringing him back. While he improved defensively, the team should (hopefully) be noticeably better on the defensive end this year.
Only issue now beyond needing to pick up the scoring is massive hole at the SG spot right now. Saw some speculation that they could try to make a move for Rudy Fernandez who I think would compliment D-Rose pretty well, though it's unlikely. Unless we get somebody Salmons or Hinrich will be playing the 2 and neither is really a 2 so there could be some issues there.
Not that I think anybody they could have drafted at 26 could have started this year, but grabbing Ellington or even Jodie Meeks (not sure what other 2's with good enough size, athleticism, and shooting ability were available there off the top of my head) would have made a lot more sense than Gibson IMO, particularly if they weren't going balls out to sign Gordon which obviously they didn't do.

Ariza may be available. The Lakers are trying to low ball him so they can keep both he and Odom...but, his agent says they'd probably just be better off getting the MLE on the open market. Because, the Lakers dont even want to give him that much. Cavs want him.

The Raptors would be good place for him to land.

Gordon's arrival is different, a team source said.
"Ben agreed to come here knowing he would come off the bench," the source said. "That makes it completely different than Iverson coming here ... Gordon is choosing to come here and play the super sub role."

I swear to god if this happens.

I worked out a 4 way trade the other day that would've been beautiful. So much for that **** happening. The Hornets are going to sit on their asses and wind up with a high lottery pick next year. With how much we gave up on Byron Scott in the playoffs I can almost guarantee that will happen.

Wait, wait, wait. Let me get this straight.
This is the same Ben Gordon, who upon winning 6th man of the year, essentially told the Bulls to go **** themselves if they dared to keep him in a 6th man role, that he was to be the focal point and super star of the team. The same player who basically wouldn't resign what has turned out to be a similar contract, because he wanted to be paid like the #1 guy should be paid and refused any role less?
It's apparent that Gordon wanted to get out of Chicago. If he indeed accepts his role as a 6th man, Detroit just got a good player.

Meeks would have been a nice fit.
I would love to have Ariza.
