Like I said earlier, no matter what LeBron was going to be lampooned.

Cleveland - "he doesn't care about winning!"
Chicago - "he took the easy way out, but he will never live up to MJ!"
New York - "he only cares about his money and his ego!"
Miami - "he took the easy way out. he can't win a championship on his own!"

****ing hypocrisy man.

You could argue the most selfish decision and cowardly decision would have been the Knicks. He goes to a situation which isn't close to being the best for the sake of fame and glory, more so than winning. Instead he chooses the unselfish choice and he's a ******* coward?

Damn this **** is getting old quick.
It wouldn't have been a selfish move if he went to the Knicks, it would have been a move in which he will have to be the leader. Who is the leader of the Heat? Who is the Alpha dog and say gimme the ball, cause I'm taking the shot in the final seconds? This is the one team where Lebron wouldn't be the man cause Wade is the man in Miami. Thats what I disliked about Lebron, that he just sort of rolled over and doesn't care about his image, just wants to win a ring even if he has to ride on somebody's coattails. Like I said, now I understand why everyone hates Alex Rodriguez, got his money and then decided ok now I want my ring. It just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, cause he always seemed to me like he wanted to be the leader.

Not entirely but yes it does have something to do with it. I do think the guy is a moron though and I don't think its a good move even if you ignore the big 3 aspect.

I don't think your 1 to 10 figure is right but I am not going to look it up a 2 in the morning.

I don't think if Lebron went to Chicago people would say he took the easy way out. I think the story would basically revolve around the Jordan shadow issue though.

All they need is a 3P specialist and a defensive center. Those two things shouldn't be hard to find. With the signing of Mike Miller they have more than filled the first one. Now if they can find a Kendrick Perkins type, they will be set to face off against the Lakers in 2011.

You can call it swallowing an ego to win a title, but his ego is still massive cause he had to go through this whole big display to say he is going to Miami. If he said he was going to NY, I would have said this guy has the biggest ego in the world as well. My whole thing is, what will happen if this team fails?

You got to realize Forenci why I'm upset, I had some big time hopes and he dashed them and stomped on them. I don't feel as bad as Cleveland fans do at all, but LBJ can no longer get any love here at the Garden. He just can't because he toyed and spun a web around the hearts of Knicks fans saying about the posibilities and just ended it there.

I'm going to root as hard as I ever have for the Knicks, we are a real young team that I think has a legit shot to make the playoffs. All I've heard about Anthony Randolph is that he has top 10 raw talent in the league, so I can't wait to see what he does

BTW, Knicks need to get CP3 and Melo next year so there can just be 2 super team battles every year **** the rest of the NBA.

It makes all the sense in the world, cause of course you want to win. But people want to see you win with effort, not by default. But last I recall, not all all star teams win it. I remember when the Lakers put together a Kobe in his prime, a still very good shaq and a past his prime Malone and Payton and couldn't win it

I think the real story of Thursday was the shocking immature and shrill outburst from Dan Gilbert. I have never seen anything like it before in my life. This guy is a clown. To write that "letter," to insult LeBron James like he did, to say that he quit in the playoffs last year, is BS and it is embarrassing.

Dwayne Wade on Dan Gilbert:

Quote:
I'm happy that I have the owner that I have here in Miami... I'm speechless. It's very unfortunate.

If LeBron doesn't think he is good enough to win as the alpha dog, he wouldn't have the ego to go through with this whole hour long special ********. LeBron is pussying out here. They used a good comparison on Sportscenter tonight. Did MJ leave Chicago to join Detroit? No, he stayed in Chicago until he beat them. MJ wouldn't have copped out like this. Kobe wouldn't have copped out like this. LeBron isn't going to be an all time great. He doesn't have the competitiveness.

He didn't want to end up like dan marino or charles barkley, if he stayed you guys would of ripped him saying he just wants money and doesn't want to win blah blah blah.

You need to stop sounding like a whiny ***** dude, Beasley may never be what people thought, ever. But your ignorant if you think it was "stupid" for the Wolves to trade a 2nd rounder for him. Sounds like your just mad at the world because you can't go buy a Lebron jersey so now everyone else does ****** moves huh? You sound like a 12 year older who couldn't get the candy they wanted at the check-out lane.

Come on man. LBJ explored all of his options and at the end of the day he chose Miami. If everyone is going to hate him for that, then whatever. It's just a shame that when a player doesn't come to the team that you root for, you hate him. (Im not just talking to you)

That would do wonders for the rest of the league which is already doing very poorly financially.

Definitely doesn't, but it's probably his best chance to do so.

Kobe wouldn't have copped out like this. LeBron isn't going to be an all time great. He doesn't have the competitiveness.
The Bulls could draft, sign and trade for players, the Cavs can't....

Dwayne Wade on Dan Gilbert:
I can't blame him for being so upset. He gave LeBron everything he wanted and still wasn't good enough. It is the letter of a spurned lover. Its a two way street as well, cause he said LeBron never called or texted him back to give him any indication. That is an immature move as well if you think about it.
