I have no problem with what LeBron said. The Cavs owner was unprofessional and treated him like **** when he left.

LeBron is just an ahole. Obviously his tweet shows that he embraces being the hated guy. If that's what he wants good for him. The more he drags this thing out the longer it will take to die down.

That's honestly all I ever wanted from him. I hate when people try to manufacture their own image. Like, why did he have to hide The Decision behind the Boys and Girls Club? It was all about him, he knew that, we knew that, ESPN knew that, but they tried to pass it off as some kind of charitable event. We know and he knows that he's an arrogant asshole, so just embrace it already. He's finally doing that.
It's the same with Tiger. Stop trying to hide behind your faux family man facade. Stop saying you've changed. Grow out a goatee, tell Ellen to go **** herself, bang some strippers, and start hanging out with John Daly.

Dan Gilbert was rightfully pissed. The letter was idiotic, but, to be fair, Lebron used him and the team as a puppet in his dog and pony free agency show. And this was after Gilbert had bent over backwards to appease Lebron and his posse. He used the Cavs and the city of Cleveland's devotion to him to draw ratings to his stupid Decision show.
He had no intention of ever resigning with Cleveland and should have let them know. They were both in the wrong. However, as an owner, you have to be above getting into a pissing contest with a player.

to be fair, I'm figuring out the majority of people involved in the NBA are assholes. See: Gilbert, Lebron, Nets and Nuggets FO's etc.

That's total speculation, of course. Why would anyone want to stay in Cleveland with a horribly run franchise that couldn't put one single quality player next to him?
If anything, the Cavs used him. He gave them 7+ years and put that franchise back on the map, all while they continued to not address the on the court issues. Who knows, if the Cavs weren't so stupid and got a great player he could team up with he might still be Cav.

You have a running timeline from 2004 all the way to the end of the 2009 season.
Find better options that could've been had. Better VIABLE options.
Heck, I'll make it easy on you and say you don't need to factor LeBron's ego into the equations.

I hate Lebron. If he came to the Knicks, everyone would still love the guy and he'd have a championship caliber team here.
And he'd always be remembered as the man who brought the Knicks back, which would cement his legacy forever.
Instead, he wanted to bang a bunch of hot Cubans and play with his boys in Miami.
**** you Lebron. You coward.

I'm not gonna lie though, I'd probably want to bang a bunch of hot cubans in Miami and not pay property taxes on my bajillion dollar home either if I were him.
But **** you anyway. Douche.

If i'm not mistaken, the Cavs refused a deal with the Suns for Amar'e because they didn't want to give up JJ Hickson.

Avery Johnson when asked if he dreams about Carmelo in a Nets uniform: "I dream about our center getting 10 rebounds." Bropez 5.9 rpg as a 7 ft. center. Fields 7.4 rpg as a rookie two. What it is.

And they had a very tradeable asset in Wally Szczerbiak's expiring contract that they never dealt. For reasons that have never been fully explained.

Rose has been great, don't get me wrong, but nobody has done more for their organization than Stoudemire this year. He's changed the culture, and has put up incredible numbers as well.
He's single handedly changed the Knicks. The atmosphere here is completely different now. And it's all because of him.
Isn't that what MVP is all about? Nobody has impacted their team more this year than Stoudemire for the Knicks.

I don't understand that either. But they owe Antawn Jamison, Mo Williams and Sideshow Bob close to $90 million.

He's not that bad this year. The only time he plays horrible defense is when he gets into foul trouble, bc we rely on him so much offensively we can't afford to rest him for any long period of time.
But hes improved a lot. He blocks shots a lot, he comes up with key stops defensively when we need him to, he's not a terrible rebounder, I believe he averages 9 a night, and in big games he steps it up defensively.
He's actually improved his defense a decent amount since his Phoenix days. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you he's a world beater on defense, but he's not terrible either.

Players absolutely rape the Knicks on the offensive boards because Amare is such a pisspoor defensive rebounder.
His defence also really hasn't improved or if it has I can't imagine how bad he was on Pheonix. Just about every somewhat skilled big man who goes against the Knicks destroys him

You're confusing team defense with individual player defense. Stoudemire is never on the other team's big like that. We're a small team, bigs will always score on us bc we can't afford to put Amare on a big and get him into foul trouble, and our other "big" isn't very good so he gets scored on.
Or we just come out with a small front and try to outscore you. That's D'Antoni's crap system. You'll see Chandler on a big before Stoudemire. That's what D'Antoni does defensively...
Offensive rebounds again goes back to the fact that we're usually playing a small lineup to outscore opponents and run the floor. It's the system they play in.
And lastly, think of it this way. Amare isn't any worse than Dirk defensively, and he's twice the shot blocker. Why have Dirk as an MVP candidate and not Amare? Doesn't make sense to me.
I know you didn't mention Dirk, I'm just saying in general, if Dirk can be a candidate, I see no reason why Amare can't be one too.
