Damnit you're right. That was a 50. As a matter of fact McGee's last dunk should probably have been a 50 too since I can't do that either.

Just the part after the =. edit- Nvm you fixed it.

But yeah Gerald Green could definitely dunk despite his complete lack of any other basketball talent.

Gerald Green could have basketball talent if his IQ was greater than 12.

I think they should score the dunks after they watch the replay. That's where half the robberies happen, you don't appreciate how good or bad a dunk is until you see it in slow motion on the replay.

Blake's dunk for example, when he first did it you were like wow, then you saw the replay and youre like big deal. The illusion painted a nicer picture than the reality of the dunk.

That's my pet peeve with the dunk competition. Score it after the replay.

Yeah, i don't buy all this noise about needing to be smart to be good at basketball. Dude was just straight up lazy and never bothered to improve his skill. Jumping 40 inches off the ground was only good for the dunk contest, nothing else.

Also, the presentation of the dunks is just straight stupid now. Do your dunk and gtfo, you don't need to change your jersey, or bring in a car, or a choir, or wear neon green clothing. It's just stupid. I agree with the replay thing though.

Also why the hell is Kenny Smith on the court with a microphone. It's ********, the judges are so impressionable, if someone is jumping in their face yelling they'll automatically give a high score, regardless of the actual difficulty of the dunk.

Rose is an idiot with a work ethic (and a guy who desperately wants to win), while Gerald Green is an actual ****** with no work ethic. I guess that's the difference.

Speaking of Derozan, he's putting together a pretty damn good year.

I still think the T'Wolves should have taken him when they had the chance.

People have to remember though that there is a bit of a difference between a regular IQ and a "basketball" IQ. Not to say it's more important or better to have one over the other, but when you have a high basketball IQ it does help quite a bit. Generally, players that have a higher basketball IQ seem to be the smarter, more well-spoken players but some of the higher paid, more skill players aren't that smart and when that happens, it's pretty obvious and comedic.

Ya but they got Jonny Flynn and Rubio. Not even sure who has been worse in the NBA with Flynn being possibly jsut being a straight up negative.

Ya Demar has been pretty solid. His D still needs some work but he has the athletisicm and work ethic to become above average on D. His midrange game is improving in leaps and bounds which has been the major difference in his game this year.

Derrick Rose has an extremely high basketball IQ and work ethic like previously stated.

I'm sure it would be hard to have an in depth conversation about some certain topics with him, but he seems to have an uncanny ability to know what to do a the right time on the court.

I think having any sort of conversation about anything with him would be difficult(and hilarious). Considering how bad he is at talking about a basketball game that he just played in, imagine how funny it would be talking about something that his life doesn't revolve around.

The whole "two PG idea" was moronic to begin with. My statement sounds kind of off, given the outcome, but at the time I def. thought they should have taken Derozan after taking a PG, and obviously that looks like it would have been a much wiser move. haha. Demar is far from a finished product, he's going to be a good one. A lot of teams seemed to be scared away by his general rawness.

Gerald Green is a special case though. When they interviewed him and Martell Webster together at the draft, he made Webster look like a ******* Rhodes Scholar. And in case you didn't realize, Webster is stupid.

I'm not arguing the level of college educated players, but 80 is low. 100 is supposed to be average, so you'd figure that 90% of people are between 90 an 110....

Most players probably aren't the brightest bulbs, but if the average was 80, it would basically be like Special Olympics basketball out there.
