Awesome. No one else out there even close to as good a coach as he is. I think we'll start to see some progress this year.

aka making our layups and good chest passes to the next guy in the line drill during warmups, possibly running the 3 man weave with precision

Beasley isn't quick enough to be a 3 to me... and he rebounds way to good to be a 3... and is like 6-9 6-10...yeah he has touch and can shoot but he also probably will struggle defending small forwards.

He's quick enough to be a 3 offensively, doesn't have the lateral quickness to guard 3's. He can't guard 4's either though so it's a moot point. His offensive game is purely that of a SF though, he's evolved from a post guy in college to not wanting to step inside the paint in the pros. So he's more 3 than 4.

Beasley is a tweener. Not quick enough to be a 3 and not physical enough to be a 4. I would probably play him at the 4 though.

Yeah I was just about to say a tweener I guess... so wierd but true example of how 1 can be a dominant hardass type in college and then come to the NBA and then fulfill that role.

But his physical skills give him a power forward advantage, not a small forward advantage. And Boozer gets by without defense at PF.

Does he really though? Chicago didn't even want to play him in the playoffs down the stretch last year.
And other all offense SF's get by without defense as well. What's your point?

If you got a competent starting SF and brought Outlaw off the bench like he should be he would be useful.
