According to John Paxson, He has not had talks with the Grizz about bringing in Gasol.

Suns sign Grant Hill, nice pick up for them. They got him for cheap and in result they get solid but unspectacular play and veteran leadership coming off the bench.

Draftexpress is reporting that Navarro may get traded to the Grizz. Supposedly he and Gasol are very close and if he comes over Pau could push pretty hard for Memphis to get something done. Looks like the Bulls rumor was just that, a rumor. Doesn't look like it's going to happen, although they do have interest in Noc so I don't know who the Bulls would get in a sign and trade, as Pax has said he won't give him up for nothing.
Another interesting tidbit is that Mario Austin, who has his rights owned by the Bulls and has supposedly become one of the best post guys in Europe, will be working out privately for Chicago. It'd cost them, but signing him might be a pretty solid move. Seems like a long shot, but we'll see what happens.

I'd hate to see the Bucks spend 50 mil on Nocioni

Wiz should try to package JCN and Haywood in a sign and trade for Darko.

I'd love for that to happen. I wouldnt mind figuring out a trade with the Grizz if we could get Kyle Lowry (STUD!) and dump off Etan's salary. I HATE the idea of getting James Posey.

Yeah I hate Posey all he would do is take time from my boy McGuire. We have no need for him. Etan will be hard to move because of his trade kicker.

Noce says he wants to stay in Chicago. So even though this offer is less than what he'd get from another team, I can see him taking it. We'll see though, Paxon's making a play for him and putting the pressure on other teams to make an offer.

He could certainly get more money, but why not play where you're happy and can contend for a title??? Plus, remember 38 million dollars is still alot of money.

Apparently, they want him to play the 2 in Orlando. His agent said it's all talk right now...he hasnt really confirmed nor denied it but, he did say returning to the East, excites Artest.
Is Ariza ever gonna be given an opportunity to start? ugh.

I think Artest would prefer to play in New York and he said in the papers that that was his childhood dream

Yeah, I would say they are the favorite to land him at this point.

If Jeff Green and Kevin Durant both do well in the tryouts for the national team this summer, being around all those stars can really help them. They have a better chance of making it with so many stars opting not to compete this summer, there goes building a program every summer with the same players lol. I can see Durant and Green exploding in their rookie years forming a rookie combo rarely seen in the NBA.

Grant Hill is a beast signing for Phoenix, all they have to pay for him is like $700,000.
