He just needs like 80lbs of muscle.

I'm sure he's getting talked to by college coaches already who are getting him on that.

I too am impressed by his smoothness. However, I'm concerned about his ability to add weight to that frame. I know he's a 14 year old and almost everybody is a stick at 14, but he just looks like he is one of those guys who will always be thin.

Looks like he could end up strong enough without being really thick though, he's got plenty of time to hit the weights and I'm sure people around him are telling him that that's what he has to do. Talking about a guy who's at least 5 years away from playing in the NBA and I'm sure hasn't done much if any lifting. I could see him ending up with a Kevin Garnett type frame.

He looks super lethargic though. His swim move and step through look like he's spinning in molasses.

Rush isn't useless. He's a pretty good 3 point shooter and in GS that's extremely useful.

The Warriors do have a fantastic scouting department...but they'll never win with their playing style. But it is true that they find scorers in the most obscure places.

They won't be as much run and gun as they have been in year's past. Mark Jackson has been preaching defense and I love the addition of Michael Malone to the staff.

God, I cant believe I'm saying this...
...but I wouldnt be opposed to the Lakers signing Arenas if he didnt cost an ass ton.
Would we have to pay him what the Magic were paying him since he's an amnesity player?

Must be nice to be an amnestied player. You get your fat check to go away and still sign another contract. I wanna be amnestied too.
They should be forced to play on no salary.

They get the same salary. The new team pays them the minimum, and the old team pays them the amnestied amount minus the minimum.

it's more than the minimum i believe it was some sort of bidding system
Quote:
|
One source with knowledge of the deal told ESPN.com that the Clippers' winning bid to land Billups in the waiver auction was just over $2 million, meaning that the Knicks will still have to pay out the remaining balance of nearly $12 million from Billups' $14.2 million salary this season.
|
http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/stor...illups-waivers
but now that's over and anyone left is just a FA

Better than what we have even if he plays like he has, and there's that chance his game rises a bit being in this situation.
