I can't even be mad. That's the favorite to come out of the west and we played with them from start to finish. This team is headed in the right direction, just really can't have Beasley in as big of a scoring role as he is.
And oh yeah Ricky ************* Rubio.

There goes nash, he really needs to become more of a scorer, no reason that he shouldn't lead this team in points

The Wolves still can't make a three to save their lives. Until that changes they'll continue to suck.
Edit: Why the hell did Anthony Tolliver take 3 three-pointers??

If Russell Westbrook wasn't such a ******* ballhog and the refs didn't call thirty million charges on him, it probably wouldn't have been as close as it was.
As far as Beasley goes, he's a gift and a curse. He puts up a lot of forced shots, but the Wolves would be clueless offensively without him.

I thought a Westbrook for CP3 trade would have made such perfect sense.
It's a trade that would work for both teams, plus Stern wouldn't have to worry about trading him to a big market.

Stern would have wanted Russ, KD, Iblocka and fourteen first rounders for him.

They ignored a couple of elbows that Westbrook threw, and every charge called was legitimate. Maybe he needs to stop putting his head down and blindly driving to the basket.
Beasley was garbage. The rest of the offense was pretty damn efficient. Beasley scored 24 points on 27 shots, the rest of the offense scored 76 on 60.

Tolliver always takes threes, and every single one makes me want to kick a hole in my TV.

Not enough is being made of Stern doing what he did. I can't believe he survived that.

Outside of the T-Wolves, I could give two shits about the rest of the NBA. It's all a big Heat-Lakers-Knicks-Nets circlejerk.

Did you play organized basketball growing up? My HS coach always told us he wanted us putting up shots, driving to the basket and putting up attempts. Points come from attempts, Beasley may not be as efficient as the team as a whole, but he serves his purpose. Moreso in the NBA where there is a shotclock, and if you aren't putting up attempts, you're gonna get run out of the building. If not him, then who? Do you really want one of Derrick Williams/Ricky Rubio/JJ Barea putting up 22+ shots a game? Where's your scoring gonna come from?

Yes I did, I still play in college actually.
There are plenty of players that can put up the numbers Beasley does. Putting up points on 30 shots a game isn't impressive. A legit contender in the NBA needs a go to scorer you're right, but we aren't a legit contender and Beasley isn't a #1 scorer, and his constant ballhogging is only going to stunt the growth of the rest of the team.
We can win 30 games this year if we just go with a balanced offensive attack, and that's major improvement over the last couple years.

And what i'm saying is, you aren't gonna score the amount of points you need to win the game, if you try to have 7 different guys scoring 12 points a game. Scoring in the NBA depends so much on rhythm that if you try to spread the ball too much, your offense is gonna be stagnant. I agree that you could find a more efficient player to give those minutes to (since he doesn't play defense), but from an offensive standpoint, he isn't as bad as you all make him out to be.

Very good game between the Thunder and Wolves. Very impressed with the Wolves. I don't know why Ridnour, Johnson and Beasley are starting. I think Williams should start for Beasley (I know he was leading scorer and all, but a lot of people would be leading scorers if they got 27 shots), Barea should start for Johnson, and obviously THE ******* ROOBSTER BABY! He was amazing! He should start. But yeah, very impressed with the Wolves.

He's not bad from an offensive standpoint, I'm not saying that at all. He's incredibly talented actually. But no team with him as it's leading scorer is never even going to be an #8 seed, he's ridiculously streaky and the good streaks more often than not come in the 1st and 2nd quarters. The young players aren't going to get better watching Beasley hold the ball for 15 seconds before jacking up a 20 foot fadeaway, and the point of this season is to develop the young guys.
And Love is a 20 PPG scorer as well, Williams has 20 PPG potential, and Dallas ran the offense through Barea for spurts all the time so it's not like it's Beasley and 12 DeSagana Diops out there.

Michael Jordan is a terrible owner. He's as bad an owner as good as he was a player.
Can anyone tell me anything positive about the drafting of Bizmack Biyombo?

Jordan is the worst owner in the league, but are we really criticizing draft picks that have played 1 regular season game?
Biyombo has pretty insane defensive potential and this draft was pathetic.
