I think Cuban is a tool, personally. Props to him for wanting his team to win badly, but it's funny how he says he didn't see the point in bitching to the league about it but has no problem bitching to the media about it.
Personally, I just like my owner to stay out of the headlines and let the team make the news, not the owner.

That's because your team has a lame owner. Awesome owners like Mark Cuban and Tom Gores need to be global media icons.
First time I've seen Kyrie Irving this year, he looks quicker than I remember him being.
Most underhyped #1 pick ever because of his one-year college injuries. The kid is a pure PG, plain and simple. In terms of controlling the pace of the game, defensive intensity/activeness, being a leader and those types of intangibles - I'm very excited to watch his career unfold. He also looks like one of those just incredible passers - not even just talking about assists, but a guy who just knows how/when to set guys up even if it's the pass before an assist. Like a Gary Payton.
I'm not sure if he'll ever be a great scorer, and it'll be tough for him to carry a team devoid of scorers. Also, he looks like an injury risk because of his fast-paced, all-in mentality on defense and getting to the rim.
It's also weird that Scott doesn't let him play 40 minutes a game but Sessions is a decent player too I guess. Irving and he are never on the court at the same time.
tldr - I love this kid's game and if he stays healthy, he'll become an elite PG in no time. Problem is, making those around you better can only get you so far when those around you are ******* Jamison, Varejao, and jewspi.
Also I really wanted the bulls to sign Joe Johnson 2 years ago but I'm glad they didn't. He's incredibly overrated and even more overpaid. He's awful whenever there's a slight amount of pressure.

I hate the current Hawks team sans Horford. Hate Joe Johnson. Not a Josh Smith guy at all. I've always hated T-Mac. I like Zaza and Teague okay, but they don't really matter.
If I was GM of the Hawks, I would absolutely blow it up.

It would take a lot to remedy the effects of the Joe Johnson contract.

I would dump him for just expirings without batting an eye. A contender would do something like that. Orlando so does it to get Dwight a running buddy.

Man all the Hawks do is flop. Pretty damn annoying...
Maybe that's why they beat Miami last night...They outflopped them.

I'm remembering how difficult it was to get rid of Chris Webber's max contract and in the end the Kings had to take on a multitude of other bad contracts that added up to the same cap number and nearly the same contract length. I don't know if it would really be that easy to move Joe Johnson simply for expirings.

Johnson is better than Webber was, but I do see your point. Thing is though, Orlando has to make a statement and I think they bite on a Johnson trade. He is a great teammate for Dwight style wise and they absolutely have to do something.
If not, I amnesty Johnson. Absolutely. My ideal layout as Hawks GM would be trade Johnson for expiring, trade Josh Smith for expiring and something of value (young player/1st rounder), and amnesty Marvin Williams.
Then, of course, the Hawks totally suck, are in line for a top 5 pick in a great draft and can extend max offers to both D Will and Dwight. It's an outside shot, but Atlanta is a decent market and the prospects of trotting out D Will--???---Harrison Barnes---Al Horford---Dwight has to be tempting for them. Right? Well, probably not, but I like to live in a fantasy world when playing NBA GM.
