Why would the Cavs trade Varejao for either of those two? You think of way too many asinine trade ideas Diab.

Yay! Wade and LeBron are planning to play tonight. I love going to Nets games to see superstars play because it's so cheap. $30 for a Heat game is highway robbery for NYC and I just bought the tickets earlier this week. C'mon Nets fans.....

i'm waiting til we play like the bobcats and getting tickets for like $5...and taking a train from New Brunswick for like $3. Seriously, I can go to a pro basketball game for about $10. it's terrible. and awesome. but terrible

Yeah, I used to go to terrible Knicks games because they had $20 deals. They always offered them when we were sitting at like 24-40 and were playing the Bucks. Whatever though, I always like watching my team live especially at MSG. Bobcats-Nets is pretty ******* brutal though, but if it's your team I suppose it's still worth it.
I only make the trip to NJ if superstars/players I really like are in town. It is a surprisingly easy and affordable trip via public transit though.

Kaman is another giant expiring to couple with Antwan Jameson's big expiring freeing up a **** ton of cap space for Cleveland
and the reason I suggested Lowery/Patterson for Okafor earlier is because Houston has 3 PG's on roster and needed a big man. This was also the time before they thought they could sign Dalembert.

Theres no e in Lowry dammit!
Also, thats just an atrocious trade on every level, even for a team desperate for size. Lowry is easily their most valuable asset, and Patterson is a young guy that everyone there really loves. Okafor is old, expensive, has no real upside, has an injury history, etc. They wouldnt even do it if you took Lowry out of the deal and had it as Patterson for Okafor straight up. Thats with or without Dalembert.

Bulls only real shot at Howard:
Bulls give up:
Deng
Noah
Gibson
Korver
Charlotte's First
Chicago's first this year
rights to Mirotic
Orlando gives up
Dwight Howard (having agreed to signing an extension)
Hedo Turkoglu
their 2nd round pick this year
Positives:
Chicago: Obviously get their superstar to pair with Rose, at the position that is the hardest to find. A 2nd round pick to try and find a gem in the rough. More playing time for the Rookie Jimmy Butler.
Orlando: Probably the most talent laden package they will find, although not the youngest or cheapest. Deng is an all-star and all-defensive team talent. Noah is a good passer, good defender, and very good rebounder. Taj is another tough nosed defender with good instincts. A very good 3pt specialist in Korver Along with one of the better international prospects of Mirotic. Not to mention Charlotte's likely lottery pick in a year or two, and another first rounder to build with. Gets rid of the horrid Turkoglu
Negatives:
Chicago: Most of the depth disappears. Destroying one of the best defensive teams in years, and losing your second and fourth best players. Losing out on the offensive injection Mirotic would have brought over in a year or two, and the hard hat and lunch pale that Gibson brought would hurt immediately. Losing Korver is a big offensive blow as he was the only guy with a great 3pt shot on the team. Along with losing the talent you might have been able to snag with the Charlotte pick and their own first round pick. Atop all that you have Hedo on your team now.
Orlando: They lose their one true superstar to a conference rival. Dont receive overly young and cheap talent back. No superstar coming back in this deal. And so many players are coming back they have to shed guys on the deep part of their bench.
Depth Charts:
Chicago:
PG: Rose/Watson/Lucas
SG: Hamilton/Brewer/Watson/Hedo
SF: Brewer/Butler/Hedo/Hamilton
PF: Boozer/Scalabrine/Asik
C: Howard/Asik
Orlando:
PG:Jameer Nelson/Duhon/Redick/Wafer
SG: Jason Richardson/Redick/Wafer
SF: Luol Deng/Quentin Richardson/ Earl Clark
PF:Ryan Anderson/Taj Gibson/Glen Davis/Earl Clark
C:Joakim Noah/Taj Gibson/Justin Harper/Davis/Daniel Orton
Personally: As a Bulls fan (sorry if i messed up the Magic depth chart) I don't think this is worth it. But this would be the only scenario I see the Bulls able to acquire Howard in.

No way they give up Deng, Noah, AND Gibson. That would ruin the team. And then you add in 2 1sts and Mirotic. Don't be stupid. Bulls don't care that much about Howard.

You can keep hoping the Lakers will trade for him all you want, cause i know that's what you meant, but i don't see the Magic budging. And any other team that trades for him will not be able to keep him past this season.

They arent going to let him walk for nothing, whether it is the lakers, the nets, the mavs, (who i dont think have the assets, so yeah maybe the lakers have the best trade bait) anyone. Someone is going to give them something they want and they will take it. So yeah, keep assuming all you want...im talking as a basketball fan.

You're talking as a hopeful fan of the Lakers when seeing how putrid your team is.. and i understand. I hope they trade for him too so you won't have to keep seeing Kobe carrying a mediocre team. Good luck with that kiddo.

If Orl lets him just walk...don't matter who they trade him to...they're massive idiots and will deserve to become bottom feeders.

They're becoming bottom feeders anyway, that team is built horribly.

Ok, so ORL goes down as the laughing stock of NBA history when for the 2nd time they let the most dominant center in the game walk away for nothing when they can get a very solid return for him? yeah that makes sense. You're a clown.

A: If you read the post, I said that I wasn't a fan. B: I said this is probably what it would take for the Magic to trade Howard to us, not that it's a good trade. So either read the whole post, and understand it, or don't comment. This happens to be a very popular topic with Bulls fans. I was more interested in hearing what Magic fans had to say about the idea. I KNOW as a Bulls fan I don't like the idea of gutting the team for Howard.

Well, Dwight doesn't want to come here to begin with. It's like discussing a trade for LeBron. If they're going to have to give up half their team, then just drop it.
And BTW, Rasual Butler isn't on the team anymore.
EDIT: NVM on Butler. Brain fart.
