Ya I tend to feel bad for the one decent coach we have had recently.
Lets see the guy waited around for two seasons while putting his name and reputation on the line as the Knicks essentially tanked games for 2 seasons while waiting to clear salary cap space.
Making trades that had nothing to do with basketball. Only for the team to make a yet another mid season deal blowing up his team.
Then after Donnie Walsh finally assembled a decent roster for him. The worlds worst owner of a professional sports team decides to let go the best GM he had in years. Blowing up the roster on D'antoni mid season yet again. Cause he is a god dam star ******.
Saddling Mike with a player who doesn't fit in with his system at all. While only having the 2nd half of the season to try and make something work.
Now after failing to make this team work in 42 games he has to resign with his name and reputation essentially ruined cause he got stuck with a bums like Melo and James Dolan.
So with less then two seasons trying to make his "star players" work this is his fate I feel bad for him.

Name the last high profile FA the Celtics got though.

Although Reke can play the point him and Joe Johnson are far too similar to share the ball.

I agree, they can't rebuild unless they Amnesty JJ and trade Smoove and have to add Marvin to it. And I highly doubt they Amnesty JJ, and their GM stated its close to zero chance Smoove would be traded.

You mean the Knicks didn't think it through when they signed two guys who need the ball and barely play defense?

What adjustment did the superstar make? At least D'antoni tried different things unlike Melo who does the same god dam Iso bs even though it isn't working for him at all this year.
Honestly I feel bad for this franchise. We always have to deal with this type of bs as long as Dolan owns the Knicks

it's the old Bill Parcells adage, if you want me to cook the meal, I gotta pick the groceries. Don't have a coach and then bring in guys who don't suit his philosophy and style. It will never work.

Hahahaa :)
No one really wants to go to Boston to play for the most part. The reporters hound you, its weather is supposed to be bad, and overall just not a good city to live in.
Its what Ive read about why no one wants to go there Free Agency wise for the Celts, I still plan on moving there in 2 years :)

Have a specific trade in mind? 3rd team involved? I dont see the Rockets having enough to where they can take on Jameer/ Hedos contract.

It isnt Seattle of course (lattes arent as good) but it's really got everything you want in a major city. Great schools, nice beaches, great nightlife, good looking women. See where i'm going with this?

Oops, add him to the bench!
Also, Woj is saying that Portland, Minnesota, and the Lakers are working on a 3 team deal that sends Crawford to Minny, and Beasley to L.A. Nothing else is known.
Hopefully Felton to L.A. Also happens in there, somehow.

But he did such a bang up job in Chicago...
Also, Deng in tonight, Rose questionable (probably out), and Rip (shocking) and Watson both likely out. If the Bulls keep it within 20, I will be shocked.

Everyone is at fault, this is true. Maybe we can convince the Hawks into doing something Amare for Smith based? Probably not.
