I think the East just isn't as good as they're made out to be. Everyone has a puncher's chance and I agree Boston looks scary right now.

Seems totally wide open in both conferences. Should make for a very exciting few months if playoff basketball.
A quick side question...with Howard's injury could the Magic miss the playoffs or are they locked in?

How long is he going to be out for? 7 games remaining for them and they only have 3 more wins than NY and Flipadelphia.

Why should it? You know damn well that 98% of Heat fans are bandwagoners and fair weather fans. They can't even fill up their own arena and games vs the Knicks and Celtics are essentially road games for them in their own house.
Its laughable. But typical of Miami.

and for the past 10 years, knicks fans never said anything because they were embarrassingly bad. it's sports, it's what happens

We still filled up the Garden, and watched the games. We just sucked.
Theres no denying that Miami has a fair weather fan base. Its widely accepted. Florida and California in general, minus the Dolphins. Its embarrassing that even now with Lebron and Wade, they still can't sell out, and still have more Knick and Celtic fans at their own home games than their own fans. Thats not a loyal fan base.

Heat home games sell 101.8% of their tickets this year. And for some reason I doubt there are more Knicks or Celtics fans at the games. But for some reason I think you're talking complete **** like everything else in this thread.

THIS YEAR. Shocker. Did they sell out before Lebron and Bosh came to town? No. Did the Knicks sell out even when they sucked? Yes. That's what real fan bases do, they don't just show up when things are hip and in.
And you clearly didn't hear the crowd the last time the Knicks went to Miami. You could hear the crowd chanting "defense!" whenever Miami had the ball. If that's not pathetic I don't know what is.

I haven't watched a Heat game with the seats full before the third quarter.

The only professional team Florida follows loyally is the Dolphins. The rest of them can barely pack the house. That's not ********, that's widely acknowledged.
Florida and southern California just aren't great places for professional sports teams. They aren't loyal fan bases.

Speaking of attendance numbers, how do the Pacers have one of the lowest attendance figures in the league? Coming off their first playoff appearance in a while, in which they had a hard fought battle with the #1 seed, and are currently the 3rd seed in the East, and they can't get anyone to games. I expect their first playoff game to be rocking, but still, kind of hard to believe.

Haha, so does like half of Sacramento.
I really hope Melo drops like 50 between now and the end of this game, all with Wade guarding him.

I really hope the NBA forces them to sell. **** those cheap broke bastards. Also, i'd enjoy Melo scoring that much, but BBD has single handedly made me root for the Knicks to lose, which is ******* hard when they're playing the Heat. That's quite a feat he accomplished.

BBD only gets to you guys so much because you know that there's a legit chance he goes apeshit on this thread after round one of the playoffs.
