Nope because if god forbid the Bulls lose tomorrow, he will troll the entire playoffs with how the Knicks would have made the ECF had they drawn the Bulls, because the Bulls sucks and it doesn't matter who was hurt.

Carmelo Anthony straight up sucks and he'll never win a title.
I hope people don't just look at the boxscore and think he's a good player because he scored 30+ with close to 50% shooting. Your team starts falling behind when you're shooting under 40 percent and still refuse to move the ball.
The only reason he's a good clutch player is because thats when you're suppose to go iso and one on one. Of course he's gonna be good at that when he does it every posession.
Also, JR smith is a bust of a signing. What a clown.

ok, can we not go too far in the other direction? Carmelo Anthony doesn't suck, and he is a good player.

Use the YouTube video as I typed it, then put &start=? after it, with the ? representing the number of seconds you want it to start at.

Oh well, what can ya do when half your team is injured?
We'll be back next year bitches. The Knicks are definitely a team on the come up and you don't want to see us next year (Unless you're Miami or Oklahoma, they're the only teams that can beat us next year.)

And please, gloating won't do you any good. It's like a browns fan gloating when Pittsburgh loses in the playoffs. Keep enjoying those moral victories.

except the knicks aren't pitt because pitt has one more than 1 playoff game in the last decade.
you're more like...dare I say it...the Jets.
hell, even they've had more success than the knicks over the last decade.

Melo doesn't kill offenses. He can play off the ball as well as anyone, but of course he's gonna be better with the ball in his hands (every great player is). It's not his fault the Knicks are absolute trash, he played his ass off the whole series, there were spurts where he turned Lebrick into a jumpshooter by constantly being in his face and bodying him up. And after that he had to go bust his ass on offense just to try to keep them in the games. Knicks are trash, they'll probably be trash next year and the year after that, but it won't be because of Melo.

I will now and forever stand by...Melo will never win a ring as the primary piece of a team. He's mostly flash with barely any substance.

C'mon raiderz, barely any substance? No substance in Game 4 when he single handedly led that **** Knicks team to a win despite JR Smith having a tank of gas in hand trying to burn MSG down?
He gets a lot of flack for not being a winner because his style of play is not necessarily to be a facilitator. He's one of the handful of guys who are absolutely deadly in the 4th (with Kobe, Wade, Paul, Pierce), and can take over a game with his offensive skill. His defense is ridiculously underrated, he pretty much locked Lebron into floating around the perimeter, but there's no possible way someone can play both sides of the ball that hard, for a whole game. He needs a better team, and sadly it doesn't look like it's gonna come any time soon.

Melo isn't the problem. The problem is we have no shooters on the team to spread the floor spacing.
We have 3 good players and a bunch of JAGs. Melo, Chandler, and Shump. Only Melo has a legit offensive game of the 3. We need to build around those 3 guys but we're handcuffed with Stoudemire's contract.
So that's the dilemma moving forward. And hopefully Lin can provide us some quality play in the back court.

He also played atrocious in two games as well.
I've never been a huge Melo fan, primarily because he only does one thing well: scoring. Which, don't get me wrong, that's huge in the NBA and he's one of the few players in the NBA who can put up consistently great scoring numbers (although he does it less efficiently than he should).
He's a solid rebounder as well but he's not a good passer, his defense is lackluster and he is wildly inconsistent on that end of the floor. Don't get me wrong, if we had the right pieces around him, that would be fine. Sadly we don't.
Amar'e is basically the same version of Melo. Can't do much else but score and block the occasionally shot/rebound, but he's not much of a defender either.
That's why I didn't want Tyson Chandler. He ties up too much money and this team needs a legit star who makes their teammate better. Ala, Chris Paul or Deron Williams.
Stat and Melo can both play off the ball well, its just when there's no one there to handle the ball consistently at the point guard position they will both dominate the ball and try to take mid-range shots instead of doing what their best at.
I don't understand why Melo doesn't post up more. Everyone knows he's great at it with his size and strength but instead he settles for stupid pull up 2's. It's rather annoying.

Kobe skipped the team shootaround today with a stomach issue. Has gastroenteritis.
Can he pull out a "flu game like" performance.
