Let superstars play? If that was the case Lebron and Wade would not be living on the foul lane most of the game.

The flopping is ******* ridiculous. Battier spent more time on the floor than in people's faces.

I've never understood this argument when it came to football, and I dont understand it in basketball either. Yes, they had the entire game, and it shouldn't get decided in the last minute, but it did. They trailed the whole game, but they came back, and were within 2. They didn't get the call. I understand mistakes happen in officiating, but to say that "miami led the entire game", therefore the missed call doesn't matter, is silly.

Heat free throws: 25
Thunder free throws: 26

GODDAMN THOSE REFS, SO DAMN BIASED. Where was this **** when the refs completely bailed out the Thunder in game six of the Thunder/Spurs series? Or is it only when it helps the Heat? On another note, Harden is the biggest flopper in the series by a considerable amount.

8 minutes ago and the last shot of the game are two very different things. Also, his forearm impeded Durant's upward motion (even if it was slight). it's like barely touching someone's elbow, the slightest bit of contact can alter the shooter's shot. It was a foul; but you're right, Miami was just straight up better today.

Durant also traveled on that last 3, so yes, it does even out.

And the Heat wouldn't always lose all these leads if Spo had the balls to tell Wade to stop shooting.

Still say Thunder in 6.

you can't just point to free throws cause that doesn't take into account offensive fouls and especially personal fouls that weren't shooting fouls that took players out of the game because of foul trouble.

and uh no. shane battier is the biggest flopper even when he's eating dinner at home.

Dude the only complaining allowed in this thread is the refs in Heat games and Westbrook not passing to Durant enough.

I usually love when you piss people off, but that block on Battier you're referencing wasn't a charge at all. It wasn't a block either, but it wasn't a charge.

Also, I think that last play is a non-call. I don't understand that play call either. You have 11 seconds with one of the best shooters in the game, and you call for him to post up and go baseline on Lebron?

Did I say the refs were biased? No I didn't. If you are going to so oh let them play dont blow the whistle in the closing minutes. Then you shouldn't blow the whistle on bs tick tack fouls that Wade/Lebron get early in games.

Also if you want to quote stats on a post at least do it correctly if someone is talking about individual players not whole teams.

Lebron/Wade took 18 of those 25 ft's compared to Westbrook and Durant taking 13 of 26

Nope, still Harden. And again, it doesn't bring about the fact of Shane Battier's horrid blocking foul that should have been a charge on Durant, either. I don't think anything THAT ticky tacky should be called late in the game anyway, Durant still had a good look and it was a minor graze. If the same thing happens to LeBron, this thread is silent. Finally, stop making me defend the Heat. I hate them.

it wasn't a play call, it was a heads up play because he saw the opening for the foul. Whether or not he should've got it is a different story. That was definitely not drawn up.

Miami played the better game, they deserved the win. I also agree that Durant charged earlier in the game. However, that does not excuse that missed call.

The reason the Thunder lost was because of all those missed free throws.

EDIT: and not enough paint points.

It was definitely a charge. I wouldn't have called it really, but if that last play DEMANDS A FOUL, then so does that in turn. Agree with you on that though, it was a stupid playcall.

Harden gets more fouls called on him than any other flopper you can name. They go both ways with him (probably because he's also reckless but whatever). Battier is by far the biggest flopper around. Just look at today's game. He even tried taking a charge on a ******* screen. He's such a *****, seriously. Play some ******* defense.

Did you miss when he had the ball with the chance to seal the game up by two, and he chose to dribble out the clock, take a 30ft'er and brick it?

Completely saved his ass after that dumbass 3 point launch with time left on the shot clock. But credit where credit is due, and he sealed the game with those points.

I'm still just upset at that play call. It was awful.

Battier is doing what he can do at this stage of his career, and he doesn't get the calls nearly as often as you would think for his flopping. Harden's just a reckless bastard, that's why his flopping is over the top and goes both ways so often.

You guys honestly think that play was drawn up during the time out? o_O

Whether it was drawn up or not, still a terrible play. Do you think a play was called, and they just went out there and said, "Ef this, look at KD on the baseline vs. Lebron, let's try to post him up," or just that there was no play?

That was a crazy finish in the last few minutes of game, such a good series already.

Also if you want to quote stats on a post at least do it correctly if someone is talking about individual players not whole teams.

Lebron/Wade took 18 of those 25 ft's compared to Westbrook and Durant taking 13 of 26
They also drove a lot more and garnered those fouls. It's not really a big deal, they're two of the best slashers in the league and they get to the line a lot. Westbrook was settling for way too many jumpers and **** happens.
