Like the Knicks I don't see anything that would entice the Suns to trade him there, could only take on bad contracts so he would have to sign for the MLE which I don't see happening
The Dirk/Nash relationship should be able to overcome the bridges burned by Cuban, Nash was in the locker room last year for the Finals. Obviously Cuban wants Williams but if he can't get him then I think Nash to Dallas could happen

Nash isn't going to be signing with teams just simply based on what they can give back to Phoenix.

They can let Ryan Anderson go in FA.
Jameer Nelson doesn't want to opt in to the last year of his deal, if the Magic are just going to use him as trade bait.
Earl Clark is talking about opting out today.
They already declined options on Daniel Orton and Von Wafer.
They could use the Stretch Provision on Jason Richardson or Glen Davis which would cut their salary down from $6M per year to $2M per year.
If they do that, they'll be sitting around $45M between Dwight, Turk, Q, Duhon and last year's rookie, Justin Harper.
If they find takers for any of those guys for expirings, they could further lower their cap number.
....that said, I don't see Nash joining them.

Ya cause of those two options. It's more likely he would settle for the MLE. Then walk into negotiations with teams saying now what would you give to the suns for my services?
I personally believe NJ/Brooklyn is going to overpay the hell out of him if they lose Deron Williams.

There is 0% chance he basis his decision solely on if Phoenix gets a good deal. Neither one is likely but if you think his decision is going to come down to weather or not Phoenix gets a good deal then I have a couple of Bridges I can sell to you.

never said that, but PHX isn't going to take on some ****** contracts to help the face of the franchise win a ring else where
I'd expect a TPE and a guy like Collison at best

Darren or Nick?
You will probably get some future draft considerations in S&T with w/e exception value Nash signs for.

Darren, but Nash to OKC could be interesting
Don't think they would want to move Collison but maybe something including Maynor, Aldrich + picks/TPE would work

I would do that if I was both teams, to be honest. I assume Westbrook would move to the 2?

Didn't they just rebuild? That was such a terribly executed situation... All they had to do was make ONE trade for ONE very good player and they'd be where OKC is 3-5 years ago...

well they got ****** by injuries obviously, if Roy was still an all-star and Oden was even a 10-10 guy they would be set and a championship contender

Alternatively, they could have just drafted Durant. KD was always the best player in that draft. If they had picked him, things would have been a lot different for them. Instead, they went with the big man for the sake of going with a big (which isn't to say that Oden wasn't a very solid prospect, pre-injury).
Fair or not, that's going to be remembered as one of the all-time boneheaded moves.

They have THE worst training staff in the goddamn world, it's embarrassing how much they ruined Oden.
