Idk, they are talkin about it on ESPN right now...talking how the Rockets would be willing to take the risk.
However, they did add that they would have enough money to make a max offer to Deron, and hoping that would be enough to entice D12 to re-sign next off season.

Deron already said that he won't sign there apparently. Still says it's between nets and mavs

How ******* stupid are the Bobcats? Are you serious?
All they had to do was ride out 2012-13 and they would have been free of all of the contracts except Ty Thomas - the bench player they signed to $8m+/y (and who really should just get starter minutes the way he produces as a bench player).
I imagine we'll just buy out Maggette for whatever and he can go sign with the Knicks or something for cheap. They need selfish non-team players right?
they got a 1st from detroit for basically taking on a extra year of 10 mil
Hah. I just assumed it was the Bobcats giving up the pick. Still think it's a bad move for them. Why give up a clean slate a year from now for a pick that won't materialize for some time?

From Ken Berger of CBS: Sources confirm pick going to Charlotte is lottery-protected in '13, top-8 in '14, top-1 in '15, unprotected in '16.
Also from Berger: Gordon owed $25.6M over next two years. Maggette has one year left at $10.9M, net savings to Pistons of $14.7M.
They got a protected first for taking on 2 years of more money. The Pistons got the better end of the deal.
Easily. It's obvious the Bobcats have no ******* plan or clue of how to plan to build a team. They were so close not too long ago...by complete accident.
Ben Gordon and Kemba Walker are pretty much the same player. I wonder how that'll work out.
So is DJ Augustin and Gerald Henderson (granted, to a much lesser extent)... And all of the 3/4 tweeners that can't score...they're all the same player, too.
