He was always overhyped, even before the injury debacle.

Just say that 50 Days of Summer was the most overrated movie. That is all that is needed. :)

Haha props to Melo. That's quite funny.
He's still a douche and overrated player.

What was Jeremy Lin so scared of in that last scene? He sees Melo all the time...

Apparently Kings turned down Lowry + 16 for Hayes + 5
Good call Petrie. #5 is worth more than Lowry.

Ehhhhhh, if MKG or Thomas Robinson fall to 5, then yes. Otherwise, not really.

One trade that I think is not complicated and makes all too much sense for both teams would be Kyle Lowry and Luis Scola for Pau Gasol. That trade just makes so much sense for me. Houston gets Gasol and still keeps all those assets and can still acquire a Josh Smith, Luol Deng, or Andre Iguodala.
Another trade the Rockets should explore is Kevin Martin+pick #18 for Charlie V, Will Bynum, #9, #39. You could then swing #12+#16 into another top 10 pick and be left with 2 top 10 picks. Maybe you can entice getting D12 with those 2 top 10 picks and other young assets but at worst you have franchise pieces to build around Gasol.
The following trades are all feasible:
Luis Scola+Kyle Lowry for Pau Gasol
#12 pick overall, Kevin Martin, Patrick Patterson for Josh Smith
Shaun Livingston, Marcus Morris, #16, #18 for Wilson Chandler #20
Gives you a starting lineup of:
PG: Goran Dragic
SG: Courtney Lee
SF: Wilson Chandler
PF: Josh Smith
C: Pau Gasol
Seems like the Rockets are unwilling to build with all their young assets so will be interesting to see what direction they go.

Doug Gottlieb has to be the worst NBA draft "expert".

I don't know man. Hayes really didn't do much for us, and we'd get a pretty good PG in Lowry, and we'd then be able to flip Tyreke and that 16th pick maybe for Luol Deng? Lowry/Thornton/Deng/Cousins/Thompson isn't bad at all, and we'd be able to bring in Isaiah off the bench as our new Bobby Jackson.

I half-agree with Brodeur, only way #5 is better than Lowry is if MKG is still there

I agree, and i'm not very confident he'll fall. It all depends on the Cavs and Bobcats, i'm hoping one of them goes Barnes/Drummond in the top four. Only way he falls to us, imo.

The NBA draft is a cluster ****. So much happens during the actual draft, that it's almost pointless to speculate beforehand. I just want it to happen already!

Will the Suns pass the Bobcats as the worst team of all time?
2012 Suns
Sebastian Telfair - Kendall Marshall
Shannon Brown
Jared Dudley - Josh Chilldress
Channing Frye - Markieff Morris - Hakim Warrick
Marcin Gortat - Robin Lopez
2011 Bobcats
DJ Augustin - Kemba Walker
Gerald Henderson - Reggie Williams - Matt Carroll
Corey Maggette - Derrick Brown
Bismack Biyombo - DJ White - Eduardo Najera
Tyrus Thomas - BJ Mullens

Gortat is better than that entire Bobcats team combined.
You'll have a Top 5 pick next year though!
