They lost Allen but gained Terry, Green and Sullinger while keeping Garnett and Bass. Plus Avery Bradley if he can return healthy makes them still very strong.

I swear... being 7' tall is like the easiest way to be rich in American history. Just walk up to an NBA exec and show you can run without falling over 1 in 5 times and profit!

Don't know if this has already been posted but:
Marc Spears of Yahoo: Nuggets sign restricted free agent center JaVale McGee to a four-year, $44 million contract

Before I knew it, the Warriors game was over and the Kings and Bobcats took the court to Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “Ni**gas in Paris”. If you’re familiar with the song then you know how it’s one of those “Rocky” songs – much in the way that watching Rocky makes you think you can conquer anyone in the world in the boxing ring, listening to this song makes you feel the same way but about anything whatsoever, not just fighting. The energy in the building perked up considerably thanks to a combination of this song and the realization that the #2 and #5 picks, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Thomas Robinson, were about to go head-to-head (with 2011 top-10 picks Kemba Walker, Jimmer Fredette, and Bismack Biyombo playing as well). The energy in the building was already creating a poor man’s play-off atmosphere. And then it happened. 2 Chainz’s song “No Lie” came on right after “Ni**as in Paris.”
I honestly don’t even know what happened after that. If you were to close your eyes in that moment you would’ve sworn it was game 7 of the NBA finals. Even the considerable amount of Mormon families with their beautiful blonde children who came just for Jimmer started going hammer and bobbing their heads and sayin’ “true” cause they ain’t never told no lie. If “Ni**as in Paris” is a Rocky song then playing “No Lie” loudly over a sound system in a small packed gym is a 48 hour long Jason Statham marathon song.

I do not know why, but Cleveland was on Bynum's list of teams he would re-sign with.

Howard has made it be known he will extend long term with the Lake Show.

He said he's willing to extend long term after 2012-2013 season? trolololol
I'd put a nice little wager that he changes his mind at least 5 times if this shitass trade goes down. Lakers get knocked out of round 1:
Dwight Howard: I've decided to not sign with the Lakers long term, I felt like I was pushed to do so for this trade to happen.

Dwight has made just about the most impressive heel turn I've ever seen in my life. I mean it's right up there with LeBron and the difference is that LeBron was already straddling the heel line anyway.
Insane to think how quickly he can destroy his own reputation, if he wasn't doing it to my franchise I'd almost feel sorry for how stupid he has been!

I'm pretty bummed about us not matching Lin's offer.

I don't follow the NBA often, but when I do I'm a Rockets fan. I assume signing Lin means 3 successive championships?

I read an article about this in SI about 6-8 months ago. Something like 17% of American seven-footers either play in the NBA or have played in the NBA. For people who are "only" 6'8", it drops to a lot less than 1%.

Sooo no one is going to discuss the Bulls signing Vlad Radmonovic and putting us over the top for tank city?

Dwight is a horrible heel, he doesn't embrace it like LeBron does and likes to continually seem like the good guy.

I highly doubt that a Laker team with that Line up would get knocked out in the first round.

Dwight is right up there with LeBron?
LeBron never sulked around on the bench because he wasnt getting what he wanted, he didnt publicly voice his displeasure with Cleveland every time a microphone or device with twitter was nearby, he didnt demand trades on a regular basis, he didnt get his coach or GM fired, and he didnt make unreasonable demands at every turn only to continue whining after the franchise tried to meet them.
All LeBron did was leave his team via Free Agency in an over the top manner, and then take part in a stupid celebration to hype up the fanbase. Compared to all of the BS that Howard has pulled, LeBron looks like a saint.

Basically. It certainly helps to put things into perspective that's for sure.

I'd like to add that the "celebration" was just for the season ticket holders. It was just made public because of how profile the players were.

The only way this post could have been better is if you used Comic Sans.

You really think he didn't quit on the team that game? There is no other explanation for how absolutely putrid he looked that game. Sure the Celtics defence is good...but not that good. Not a coincidence that he played the worst game of his life.

LeBron : The Decision, alpha male
Dwight : iThe Indecision, beta as ****
LeBron was much less traumatic for every non Cleveland fan than Dwight's never ending menstrual cycle. Get Howard some ice cream and The Notebook, please.
Comahan was right on point.
