That's cool to make fun of him and all, but Lebron did quit that game because Delonte was banging his mom.

Johnson will just get cut, as will the other players who came with him. The deal was made for the 2nd round pick, which gives Houston like 800 picks over the next few years. They do this with every sign and trade, accumulate picks to take guys like Chandler Parsons late in drafts.

Why? He's as good of a defender and has an offensive game outside of 5 feet which Brewer doesn't.
I'm not saying he's a star or anything but I'd give him 4 years 24 million without much of a thought.

All LeBron did was leave his team via Free Agency in an over the top manner, and then take part in a stupid celebration to hype up the fanbase. Compared to all of the BS that Howard has pulled, LeBron looks like a saint.
|
What you didn't mention is that LeBron started as a heel from pretty damn early in his career where as Howard was the golden boy, Lebron had $5 of currency and he cashed it all out and then some with a couple of massively dick moves. Howard had $100 of currency and has just bitched, moaned and complained it away over the last year and a bit.
LeBron held the franchise ransom, just like Howard did, he tried to run the show and make personnel decisions. The whole "Chosen One" act is a complete douche move (tell me that Chosen One doesn't sound like something a heel would call them self in the WWE). The whole "me, me, me" pre game intro's with Cleveland and then he quit on his team in the playoffs, held the team to ransom again, then basically stabbed the whole state in the face with one of the most despicable "shows" I've ever seen. From that point forward he has pretty much acted like as much of a dick as he can whilst all the time acting confused at why everyone doesn't love him.
I'm not arguing that Howard hasn't been a total dick over the last year but LeBron has like a 10 year head start on him for acting like a dick and the single most dickish thing I've seen from an NBA player. I only watch the WWE very sparingly but LeBron reminds me of that Alberto Del Rio guy an amazing amount in the way he acts.
Basically LeBron has always been a heel. Howard has just made the amazing turn to heel after being so "loveable" early in his career. It's like last offseason he just turned the dick switch on.

1. What huge massive dick moves did he do to the Cavs? Not re-sign a contract?
2. How did he hold the franchise ransom? They knew he wasn't going to re-sign and if they let him test FA there was a good chance he wouldn't re-sign. We have got to stop that **** with "oh he held the franchise hostage" for entering free agency. That **** makes absolutely no sense to me.
3. He was asked his opinion about personnel decisions. Why is that a big deal for Lebron and perceived as him "running the show" but with anyone else it's fine? They ask big time athletes these type of things all the time.
4. The "me me me" pre game intros that featured the entire Cavs bench of guys you never saw play? Yea he did his chalk dust throw, but every time I saw them do some sort of dance routine, or whatever, it was team orchestrated with everyone involved. You can say what you want about it, but they weren't all about himself all the time.
5. He did quit in that game.
6. Why are you so mad? You sound like you just hate anything Lebron did in general. Especially when you start talking about how he stabbed his team in the back and held them hostage. He had free will of who he wanted to sign with, and he approached free agency like any other athlete.
The Decision might have been a terrible decision, but it was 30 minutes. How long has this **** been going on with Dwight?

He's just a role player. It's like giving JJ Barea that much money. Oh wait...

I hope the Magic don't trade him, dress him for games but then don't start him. Let him come off bench or something. Seems like the least dignified option for him.
edit: **** it, send him to the D-League.

Yet it still gets even more confusing as to why in the **** he would opt in. Seriously?

The dick moves was in regards to his free agency and he treated the team, basically the decision and everything that went with it. I've never seen another player in any sport do it like that, he pretty much taunted a fan base that had supported him through thick and thin. To me that is a dick move, if you don't think it is that is your opinion.
Holding them ransom is in reference to the last few years with the Cavs when he was constantly employing the "do this or I'll leave" attitude. LeBron always thought he was the team and it was all about him, at least that was the image that I got.
I actually don't hate LeBron, I quite like a good heel, I was simply arguing that he very much is a heel and that he has done plenty to earn that title. I dislike how he treated the Cavs and their fans, they did nothing but bend over backwards for him and he took a giant dump on them, that was low, but I enjoy how LeBron has embraced being enemy #1 now. Saying he isn't very likeable and why he isn't likeable isn't hating. He's like the Undertake or something in the WWE, he is a heel but you still kind of root for him to win because of how much it annoys everyone! Hell, Xavier McDaniel is still one of my favourite players in a large part because he was such a dick and got in everyone's face.
Also... I'm not defending Dwight in anyway so sorry if it seems that way, I hate what Dwight has done and think he has become a genuine dick himself, probably more so than LeBron at this point, he has basically taken the decision and decided to drag it out for two years.
Hope that clears it up...

When I was in high school I met this girl. She was amazing and showed promise of being the one. I had been with a few other girls and I had been down on my luck but she dated me for whatever reason. Things were going great and showed promise. She even said to me "I have a goal, and it's a huge goal, and that's for you to put a ring on my finger and I won't stop until I get it." I was really excited. We dated throughout high school and after (she didn't go to college because she got a job right out of high school). A number of years of being together her boss asked if she wanted to move to another branch. The branch next to my place was great: offered her a lot of money, everyone loved her there and treated her like royalty. She decides to invite all her friends and coworkers to this party where I thought she was going to get a raise. She broke up with me in front of EVERYONE. She moved down to the beach where her girlfriends from camp were. She also though she would have a better chance of moving up (she even brought one of my best friends with her!) My mom got pissed and sent her an an unprofessional email saying how I was going to get married before her or whatever. To make it worse my ex goes out dancing with all her girlfriends and sends me pics of them having fun and things we used to do together. I was stuck at home with nothing except memories of what could have been. After a year goes by I find someone new, not necessarily better, but not as egotistic. My ex sends me a text randomly less than a year ago saying that she would be okay with getting back together one day. I was so confused. But one day I'm sitting at home watching TV and her wedding is being broadcasted ON TV!! I couldn't look away hoping someone will stop it but it was too late. She got married to some other dude and that was it. I turned off the TV. I still can't believe it. So I guess that's it, so congratulations Mrs. Dwayne Wade, you did it.
