The Board of Governors on Thursday voted to expand the use of instant replay beginning this season and indicated that advertisements on jerseys, a revolutionary idea for the league, will be coming as soon as 2013-14.

I don't hate the Advertising on NBA Jerseys.. Everyone figured it was gonna eventually get to that point. It's dumb that they're gonna have those same advertisements on the retail jerseys too, though.

Meh, people want to be as close as they can to the jerseys the players wear. It becomes part of the jersey.

I read that any advertisement patches are going to be small rather than what we see on soccer kits/jerseys/whatever the **** you call them

I like Lillard but I'll always remember him for saying "GP didn't give me any advice" at the draft.

Houston's offer to Omer Asik is same terms as Jeremy Lin's -- $5M, $5.2M, $14.9M. Bulls have three days to match.

nah im just saying, different people define big differently. 2.5x2.5 isn't worth much fuss but to some it might be a big deal.

The Celtics are quietly making the right moves. They're telling Miami "we won't go down without a fight."
On the other hand OKC isn't doing jack****. They seem to be content with their team as presently constructed. That could be their fatal flaw.
How do they expect to win the title when even Miami is doing what they can to get even better?
We're coming for you OKC...

With Jordan Hill back in the fold the Lakers have one of the deepest big men rotations they've had in a very long time with Bynum/D12, Gasol, Jamison, Hill, and McRoberts. I'd actually really like them to try to move Gasol for an Iggy or Rudy G type as their situation at SF sucks although I think Eyenga could give them some decent minutes.

They should trade for Villanueva or Tayshaun!

Since when does making a bunch of changes make you better? OKC is young, all they would have to do is keep their team together. Getting Eric Maynor back is better then a FA pick-up, and it's not like they have a bunch of needs or minutes available.

Unbelievable: in 2014, Omer Asik will be making more money than Tom Brady.

So, Celtics sign Jason Collins now. If we can get past Miami, he might be a good cog against a team like LA that can play inside. Pretty excited about the direction this team is headed in, as long as Pierce regains form with a normal off-season and Jeff Green can play at the level he played at before his heart condition. (Not that he was spectacular, but he's at least better than Sasha and Pietrus)

They also fell ass backwards into drafting Perry Jones, which looks to be a pretty awesome pick up, so not sure what, if anything they needed to do? I mean, the problem with them in the finals was they couldn't contain Lebron, and to a lesser extent the Miami bench playing out of its mind.
There's no way you are bringing in someone to replace Westbrook, Durant, or Ibaka. Maybe swap Harden in to the starting lineup? Replace Perkins, but what C would they sign that is a significant upgrade over Perkins? I don't see where they could have improved all that much this offseason...
