No excuse justifies the timing. If they needed to do it ASAP, then it should have been done following the Jazz game. It makes ZERO sense to do it today. None. To do it today means they knew they were going to fire him after the Jazz game. Buss just gave him the dreaded vote of confidence yesterday. **** is not adding up.

Man I cant wait until McHale gets fired! I do enjoy not seeing Douglas tonite though. He gets props for that atleast.
And for the love of God Harden, get out of your ******* shooting funk! The past three games he's been shooting less then 34 percent in each game.

Jim and Mitch didnt plan this, Dr. Jerry Buss who is not very involved in the everyday business of the Lakers sent in the call. They pulled Brown out of a staff meeting. It sounds as though it was very sudden. They obviously had talked about it, and brought up scenarios in what it would take for them to pull the trigger...but neither Jim or Mitch expected it right now.

They are missing their best player, but their second best player is AK-47.

Well, if he is their #2 then they're going to be far from a force in playoffs. This team won't come close to making it out of the first round unless Rubio come back and looks ******* awesome.

Favors is such a monster defensively already. If his offense can catch up, the sky is the limit.

They'll still be a threat. Love is one of the best players in the league and his presence will make the T-Wolves a force, and they're already 4-1 right now without him. AK-47 is a great player, I wouldn't be worried about it.

From UCLA? They can take a big man to pair with Gortat anyway, since Beasley is absolutely awful and Scola is old.

I like both, but neither are good for the talent the Lakers currently have.

Phil will be fine with this Lakers team. You're insane if you think otherwise. He wouldn't want the job if he didn't think he could get a ring; Phil Jackson knows a thing or 2 about getting rings.

Phil is also smart enough to put the hand cuffs on Nash. Obviously we would run the triangle a great deal, but to think he wont let Nash have a little bit of freedom would be insane. He let the glove do quite a bit of free lancing when he was in L.A.
