Crawford is a perfect example of give a guy the final shot enough times and he'll hit a couple incredible ones.

Hope I didn't miss the window to talk about the Clippers.
While Crawford is hot and cold, as we all know, he isn't going to sink the team when he has a bad shooting night. There's too much depth to have him out there on a night where he'll inevitably go 2/11 or something bad from the field before half. Especially when Billups comes back. He changes the dynamic of this team.
Point being, I think the Clippers are finally a legit threat in the west.

There's no doubt about that. Losing Reggie Evans was actually big, and he's really not even THAT good. I think the thinking there is that if we have enough outside threats, we can space the D out a bit more and almost mask that flaw. I mean no team is perfect and I don't like the depth there at all but as long as DeAndre continues to not go full ******, we can pretend like its a non issue right now.

It's the West....who do they have to defend at the 5 or 4 other than Dwight, Aldridge and maybe Duncan every other night? Big man depth? Who the hell has big man depth in the West besides maybe Denver? Who? And please don't tell me Bonner, and Blair is depth. The Spurs are just as flawed as the Clips. No one has legitimate big man depth....no one. The Clips match-up well against the Spurs. And when Billups comes back, they get even more dangerous. The Clips should be getting more love....they're not that same team that lost in the playoffs. Only thing that worries me about them is Del Negro.

Nugs have McGee, Spurs have Splitter, Thunder have Collison, Minnesota has Stiemsma, etc.

Maybe our definition of "depth" is different. Your really going pump up Collison, Splitter and Stiemsama? Who are these guys actually slowing down? These guys are so much better than Hollins and Turiaf? No they aren't, sorry.

Honestly, I'm shocked he's even considering it. You forget, the main reason Phil retired because physically, he just couldn't coach anymore. His health is a legit concern, which is one of the reasons I was hoping he would turn down the job. But if he brings somebody like Rambis with him, along with his usual guys like Clemons and Winters, I'll be less concern about his presence at practice, shoot-arounds, etc.

Actually we were talking about the Clippers....but that statement still stands, Wright blows. And who is Brand going to guard without being a complete liability?
