Yeah its not looking good the teams speed wont fit for shaq which means this wont work out, we'll see if he can adjust

to be fair....he is averaging a double double since he's been a sun but fenikz is right, everyone instead of playing at their speed is watching amare and shaq and hoping they get the rebounds....Nash had zero rebounds tonight...

yeah, it's not because the shaq trade was bad it's because nobody (not even raja) on the suns is willing to play defense, or at least good defense.
they have to realize that they can't just outscore their opponents any more because their offense got worse.
also, nash has to knock down his shots when they count.

They don't have the shooters anymore to spread the floor. They're screwing themselves. I think it was a dumb move.

All they gotta do is tighten up in the playoffs and Shaq helps then more than any other time. I don't think they'll lose enough to get out of the playoffs either.

But this is an indication. They just aren't good. They got absolutely raped by the Pistons. You can say "yeah, they aren't used to each other" but losing by 30 points is completely different.

but if they can't get back to consistently winning they could be looking at 6-8 seed...and in the west, it doesn't take much...

Home court would be an advantage but the Suns play just as good on the road as they do at home
21-8 at home
18-11 on the road
The problem I have is that we only a mere 4 games from being out of the playoffs. Yao getting hurt helps us a bit but there is still a a chance we don't make it
Atleast we have 2 days off until Philadelphia and then 2 more days before Portland
btw anyone think Stat should be considered for MVP? definitely not gonna win it but i think he should be top 5 right now
over the last 2 months he is averaging 26 PPG, 58.5 FG%, 9.7 RPG, & 2.2 BPG

3-4 losses is all it takes. I love being 10 wins up on the closest division rival and 5 up on the #3 seed.

Stat may get some love but yea, he won't win it...I really think it's Kobe that takes it this year...he's making everyone around him better...it used to be that Kobe either shot the ball 40 times a game or he passed it and took 6 shots...he's never done both quite so well before....
I think this is how the voting will turn out...
1) Bryant
2) James
3) Paul
4) Garnett
5) Howard
6) Stat

Yea because it's just that easy, first Amare needs to learn how to play defense and Shaq and Grant Hill need to get 10 years younger. Seriously between Shaq, Amare and Hill, the only winners in Phoenix work in the emergency room.

yeah i think kobe takes it this year, and i don't think it's too homerish of us to say that.
it could still go to KG, seeing how the voters/media are in love with him. he's missed a lot of games though and the celtics have came a little back down to earth, so hopefully it goes to kobe.

After the Cassell buyout and his eventual signing in Boston, the Cs are now ready for the playoffs:
C-Perkins/PJ Brown/Pollard not playing
PF-KG/Powe/Glen Davis/Scalabrine not playing
SF-Pierce/Posey
SG-R. Allen/T. Allen/House
PG-Rondo/Cassell

Depending on how you guys judge MVP, but Bosh has been much more valuable to the raps than Stat to the Suns.

As of right now Stat is just playing at a much higher level than Bosh
And the fact that Bosh plays his games against the East doesn't help
Kobe is definitely the MVP right now in my eyes
1. Kobe
2. LeBron
3. Paul
4. Howard
5. Garnett
6. Stat

The Warriors and one other team can still claim Cassell if they want.

I doubt they would when you consider the fact he'd be a malcontent.

If the Hornets got a higher seed than the Lakers in the West and the Cavs in the East and ESPECIALLY if they got the #1 seed, I don't know how you couldn't give it to Chris Paul.

well...the hornets have some ground to make up then...I think their slippage back after the all star break did them in for the top seed...IMO

I don't think Paul should win it if Kobe hasn't won it yet.

Yeah. Kobe has been through a lot more then Paul has. He has always been at this level. Paul hasn't.

The MVP isn't a career achievement award. If Kwame Brown comes out next year and plays better than everyone else, he should win MVP.

I think Chris Paul may end up beating out LeBron for the 2nd spot in the MVP voting, but Kobe's got it hands down. He's played great basketball/team ball thus far and is taking this team to heights never seen since 2004. Chris Paul definitely makes a strong argument for the MVP but Kobe's got his team at the #1 spot playing ELITE type basketball. When it comes down to it, Kobe's career is always gonna come up because it's gonna be PEOPLE voting.
