This Warriors Atlanta game is amazing. No semblance of defense at all. Its 68-70 with 30 seconds to go in the first half.
Baron Davis with 24 in the first half. Joe Johnson with 29!

Wait. You mean there are Warriors games that do have defense?

Bulls dominated Memphis tonight, granted it is Memphis, and were up 30 at one point in the 3rd before letting Memphis back into the game...4 players with 20 points, Gooden with 21 and 13...sorry, but anyone who said Gooden wasn't going to provide us with more offense than Smith or Wallace is insane

Uhhhh... Joe Smith had some 21 point games with you guys too. He is just as good offensively as Gooden, but Gooden is a better defender.

yea true, what I meant was when people said by giving up those 2 for Gooden we don't get any offensive value, when in reality Gooden is pretty much Smith and Wallace combined in one player and cheaper

How is Gooden Smith and Wallace combined into one player? Gooden is a lousy defender.

ok he is slightly better at offense than either of those 2 (yes, Smith is not great down low and majority of his points came from jump shots, Gooden actually has a post game) and is slightly worse at defense this year (Smith doesn't know what defense is and Wallace was having a average at best defensive year), so I personally see it as an even trade off, while also getting a post presence we need, albeit not a dominating one, and TT and Noah take over for the absence of a dominating defensive presence in the lane

I'm very glad to have Gooden and Hughes. Hopefully the other guys step up. Finally got a good game out of Deng he had been slumping lately after playing pretty well in limited minutes initially after the injury.

Thoughts on the Bulls;
A) Gooden and Hughes were good pickups
B) Gordon is soooo inconsistent, he needs to be traded
C) Hinrich has played much better after getting a 2 guard who can actually play defense
D) Tyrus has a lot of potential...But he still does a lot of stupid stuff
E) Duhon will be gone next year, not getting enough PT
F) Where the hell is Thabo at? He was playing great as of late
G) Noah is actually a very solid player
H) Boylan is not a very good coach. He doesn't adjust very well and needs to have a quicker hook on guys who are playing like crap.

I'm so pissed that Thabo doesn't play anymore...with the return of Hinrich and Gordon and the acquisition of Hughes, Thabo is buried at the guard spot...we all saw what he can do when given consistent PT, so hopefully we get rid of Duhon and Gordon, so that Thabo can be the 3rd guard in the rotation

Suns played great D tonight, it's the only reason we won that game. Our offense still isn't clicking with Shaq and especially when Amare is on the bench, he definitely deserves some MVP talk, averaged 29.3 PPG, 10.5 RPG, 2.4 BPG, and hitting nearly 90% of his free throws in February

Hughes sucks, Ive watched him get blown by multiple times on D. His offense is the only reason he is of any worth. Hes a volume shooter just like Ben.

Welcome back to New Orleans, Birdman. You're exactly what we needed. Armstrong and Ely are jobbers.

Hughes' defense sucks? Really....Hmmm Larry does gamble a lot by jumping the passing lanes but he's a pretty darn good defender. He gets a lot of steals and he plays tight man to man defense.
I think he can play better defense though than what he has. Been a tad lazy off the ball.
Hinrich and Hughes in the backcourt is very solid defensively. Here's MY team next season (keep in mind we'll have draft picks too and players will be gone);
PG - Hinrich
SG - Sefolosha
SF - Deng
PF - Gooden
C - Noah
Bench:
Hughes
Nocioni
Thomas
Gray
S. Brown
Gone:
Ben Gordon (sign and trade)
Duhon (trade)
Simmons (release or buyout)
**Hughes (possibly gone, I don't know if Pax likes that contract)
Added:
Players from Gordon/Duhon trades
Draft Picks
