Of them, the most consistent shooter is Gibson and that's been the Cavs' problem from the start. I didn't realize until now though that this was for Ford and not Calderon. Then I REALLY wouldn't see the point in trading for him. They may need some sort of distributor, but Ford is best utilized in the open court which is sort of the opposite of what the Cavs generally are. Plus, they need outside shooting from the two Guard positions almost at all times with someone like LeBron, which isn't Ford's specialty. Then factor in that he's injury prone and it doesn't really make sense at all.

WTF Lewis!
Why are we missing all these free throws...outside of Howard, the rest of the team are great FT shooters. WTF is going on?

Not if SVG is still the coach. I don't think he'll ever let Redick get off the bench in meaningful minutes. Otis is the one that pulled the trigger on the Ariza trade and Mo is the only meaningful return on that investment. He won't let go that easily. Or maybe he's as stupid as I think and he'll do it.

Actually, we are terrible free throw shooting team. That is one plus about having Redick. Too bad he never gets a chance. He never misses a FT.

But he can create for LeBron. No one else, except hopefully Sasha, can do that well. Obviously a great shooter and creator/distributor would be preffered, but I'd like to have players having both of those qualities.

Actually, they're not a terrible FT shooting team. All of Howard's attempts make it seem like we are a bad team.
Nelson 83%
Dooling 85%
Turkoglu 83%
Lewis 84%
Evans 71%
Bogans 74%
Evans and Bogans arent that great but, if we didnt have all of Howard's misses...we would be up near the top w/ three starters all shooting over 80%.

If those numbers were true, I wouldn't be so pissed off at them at the FT line all the time. I just can't believe those are accurate.

I can't believe the Pistons are able to work the offensive glass AGAIN like this, thats extremely draining, that would of been my focus of the night to not let that happen, thats how they lost the last game...Block guys out before you worry about getting down the court.

Look them up.
The only reason we're at the bottom of the league is because, Howard has 900 attempts and shot only 58%. He has 100 more attempts than the player in 2nd, Iverson. His numbers kill the team's numbers.

I want to but, I dont think we're winning it.
Just think, if a few things went our way, we could have easily been up 3-1 right now.

The thing I'm mad about right now is that Hedo isnt shooting more...he's been doing this throughout the playoffs. He has the ability to carry this team and he doesnt want to shoot until the 4th quarter. He's not playing like he did during the regular season...he's been more of a secondary weapon this series. He needs to just take this game over in the 2nd half.

Where is Howard? I haven't seen him make an impact on the boads or on the offensive side in the last 2 games, they are going to have to do a better job of running the offense through him and getting him involved somehow.

Chauncey isn't a great defender either, and Paul is no slouch on that end, although Billups is better. On offense, however, it isn't close. CP can score at will, and distribute the rock at a spectacular efficiency. It seems like everytime I watch a game, his stats come up and invariably it is 10+ assists with one, maybe two turnovers.
Deron is a great PG as well, but I don't think he's quite as good as CP3, although it could be the fact that his offense is far more system-oriented than the Hornets who seem to wheel and deal at Paul's desire. He's got a great jumper, terrific size, and is an excellent distributor(although not quite on Paul's level, but no one is), he can also get into the lane very well and has the strength to finish. He's a very good defender as well.
As for Steve Nash, I don't think he's that amazing anymore(and I'm Canadian). He's still an offensive force, but he is a revolving door on defense and should probably shoot more than he does.

Yup, they completely fell apart again...they have 2 points in the 4th quarter!?!?!?!!? Pitiful.
Why did SVG go to the half court offense? We cant play in a half court offense.
