I really don't want to hear Joe Buck's voice again. Well, the Giants only road loss of the season came week 1 in Dallas, hopefully we can overcome Kevin Gilbride for the win.

I guarantee that the Jaguars may possibly if everything goes right for them, if Tom Brady screws up, and they play their worst game of the year, will beat the Patriots.

I'm actually shocked that the Giants are technically the least underdog out of all these games.

I'm really glad there is no pressure on the Jaguars to win this game...because no expects them to do it...they can play their ball at their tempo...which I believe the only way to beat the Patriots is to play that ball control offense with 15+ play drives while running the ball 40-50 times...

haha....Troy Aikman in Dallas against the team he is most biased against. Should be interesting.
This weekend may be the best Divisional round the NFL has seen in a loong time. Great football games.

I don't mind Aikman at all. I think he is pretty fair and objective. He leans a little towards to Cowboys when the Giants play them, but I can't really kill him for that. When Aikman covers a Giants game against any other team, he is always fair and objective. Buck on the other hand I can't stand. The guy hates everything NY. He pretty much made that clear when he complained about having to be in Yankee Stadium again when he didn't realize he was still on air. If it wasn't for the Yankees and his daddy, Buck wouldn't have a job.
Now Moose Johnston that is a whole different story. That guy is the poorest excuse for an objective commentator I have ever seen.

If Jacksonville cannot stop Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers' receivers, they are in a lot of trouble against New England. It won't matter if they have a dominant running game if they are down by two scores early. David Garrard is good, but he just doesn't have the weapons to win in a shootout.
The Seattle/Green Bay game is the least interesting game to me. I personally think Green Bay is super-bowl bound and I don't anticipate the Seahawks beating them in Lambeau.
The Chargers/Colts game is the one I am most excited about. The Chargers have, quite frankly, owned the Colts over the past few years. They have given Indy more problems than any other team. Lorenzo Neal should be back, which will only help get L.T back on track. The Chargers' defense has been great down the stretch and everyone knows that the Colts' have had struggles against a 3-4 defense. The keys to this game are this:
1. The Chargers' passing attack finally came alive, can they keep it up?
2. Will the Colts' be able to run the ball effectively. If not, then San Diego's defense will be able to come after Manning in long yardage situations.
Finally you have the Cowboys/Giants game. The Cowboys have been less than impressive as of late, and the Giants are surging. If there is an upset, I think this game is most likely to be it.

Oh Shiver, I think I'm your biggest fan. I've been wondering if I was going crazy since literally no one is even giving the Bolts a chance. 2 excellent corners, monster run stoppers, and an elite pass rush out of a 3-4=not a pleasant day for Peyton. and LT loves running around on turf. and I'm sorry but I just find it hard to discount Rivers' performance yesterday without his two hall of fame weapons, especially since Freeney is on IR.
I'm not the kind of person to issue any sort of guarantees before a game, but I think it will be great football no matter what.

Totally agree. I'm not saying the bolts will win but I do think that everyone is writing them off rather quickly. We were very lucky when we won the game earlier in the season but I think we are a much better and more cohesive team now than we were then.
It should be a good game either way. Peyton still scares the S out of me as a Charger fan but I think we have more than a decent shot.

Both AFC divisional playoff games have the potential for a big upset. Most people have been saying for a while that Jacksonville was one of the few teams who could actually take down NE and we all know the Chargers already beat the Colts earlier this season. Either way it makes for an intriguing set of games.

Alright here it goes
New England over Jacksonville, 24-17
Indianapolis Colts over San Diego, 31-14
Dallas over New York 27-24
Green Bay over Seattle, 30-27, Crosby hits a last second FG
The most obvious intriguing match-up will be New England's Monster O vs. Jacksonville's stubborn D. It will be close, but I think the defense of New England will win it mainly due to there defense stopping Taylor and MJD.
I also look for an ass whoopin by Indy over SD

Giants-Cowboys has all the makings of a big upset.

That's my thought as well, 51. Both games this season, the Cowboys offense made big plays to outscore the Giants and win. If the Dallas offense doesn't play well, that could open the door for the Giants if their offense gets hot and makes some plays.

We'll see. If our defense looked remotely like it does now in Week 1, we would have won in Dallas. But that was also Eli's best regular season game besides the Pats one. We'll see, Eli plays better in domes and warm weather, and he has some momentum with his recent performances.

The Jaguars offense sputtered against the Steelers but I believe they will right the ship back to the way they were playing in the regular season...I do believe that by resting some players in Week 17 that made the offense a little rusty....MJD is the wildcard factor here...he had a big game against the Pats last season...

The Green Bay/Seattle game has all kinds of subplots.
> Mike Holmgren back in Green Bay
> Matt Hasselbeck, a former Packer, Favre backup, and his infamous coin toss guarantee
> Ted Thompson (GM of Packers), the man who helped build the Seahawks into Super Bowl contenders
> Koren Robinson going against his former team
> Can Brett get back to the Super Bowl?
