That's so cool. I wish I had that in my house. Don't think it would fit though.

The Sony 70 inch is almost $40,000 and this one is more than double the size. It probably costs like $100,000.

How is a 70 inch $40 000? 50 inchers don't even cost close to that much, and if anything they should be cheaper in comparison for size. Who would pay more than $50 000 for a TV?

yeah, that's pretty boner-inspiring...but my first thought was; if you want a picture that big, why not just get an HD projector?

I've got a 52 inch Plasma that cost 3k....so I don't know why a 70 inch LCD tv would cost more than 50 grand...

i think its only cool if you have a big enough room to put it in. 150 inches you are going to have to sit atleat 10-15 feet back just to see the damn thing. that is a big ass living room. 90% of the people on this forum still live at home and those of us that do live on our own live in apts, for the most part.

My Aunt has a 70-inch TV.
That is big enough for me. I wouldnt mind having the 150 inch though.

My living room is big enough for probably a 100 incher...but you're right, you'd have to be at least 15-20 feet away to really enjoy it...

I found it on bestbuy.com. Its 32,999.98. I would much rather buy the 52 inch for like $4300. I dont see how another 20 inches costs an extra 28K.

Awesome but you would have to be so far away from it.

That's what she said. Ugh, couldn't help myself.
On a more serious note, I'm quite certain I can all ready see some moron 'accidentally' diving head first through that.
Actually, I'd bet you any amount of money Gus Frerotte would head butt the thing if he was watching football with it.

I read that if you are determining how far away to be from a TV to make it optimal it's supposed to be 2.5x the size of the TV, which would be like 31 feet. People don't have living rooms that big.
