Paul Poszluzny - Was great when he was in there, and would have been talked about much more if it had not been for the injury he sustained that ended his season. Very solid player.
Revis - Solid as a rookie, went against Moss and Owens, taking them anywhere on the field most of the time and held his own (IMO). With a better and more consistent pass rush and a year under his belt i think he can only improve.
Cutler - I thought it would be this year after the signing of Javon Walker, but i guess i'll push it back a season. I think he'll take that next step.
Marion Barber - Can he really 'breakout'? Depends on what we mean by the term, but i think he will finally get starter like carries on the regular. With his style of running injury will always be a concern, but he runs tough and that's what got him here, i don't see it changing. He'll finally top that 1000 yard mark
Kenny Phillips - ya he's only going to be a rookie, and it is always tough for them to breakout in their first season. However, there is something about him that makes me think he's going to come into the league and make a name for himself early. He's got the University of Miami saftey thing going on for him, and that usually leads to a solid career.
Matt Schaub - Realistically, it could have actually been this year had he and Andre Johnson been healthy all season. Instead they were both injured and didn't play that many games together. Didn't look out of place as the starter in Houston and considering how little he's done in the past, its safe to say this will be his 'breakout' season.
David Harris - I know, i know. The list is getting a little long, and now i have 2 Jets on it. However, i believe that both deserve this type of attention based on what they did this past season as rookies, and what i would classify as lack of mainstream attention. Most people just don't know how these 2 played (i'm sure they do on this site, but in general). Harris will continue to have his role evolve and should be solid throughtout. Based on his production this season, i don't think being in the top 5 for tackles is out of the question, along with a few sacks, but he'll be lucky to have 1 INT

Also, I like your Winston Justice pick BBD. I think he is very underrated and only frowned upon because of one game he wasn't prepared for (Andy Reid didn't help him much either).

Winston Justice at the very worst will be a very good RT in this league. I agree, ppl put way too much weight on that one performance he had against Osi.
He should start for Philly next year.

The transition into the ZBS should not be a problem for Michael Bush, Im more anxious to see how far hes come since the injury.

i thought strongly about Weddle, Merriweather, and Lawson also.
I don't see Leon Washington's role getting all that much bigger than it has been, but i could be wrong.
I want to see Turner's team before i say him, but he does not go down easy that's forsure.
Norwood IMO looks like an injury waiting to happen. Could have broke out this year if Petrino wasn't a total ******.

I will go out on a limb and say Haloti Ngata is a top 3 DT next year.
For the Ravens it would be Antwan Barnes with the rumors that T-sizzle wants to go back to Arizona.

Now that the thread title is in English...
For the Bengals I'd have to think someone, anyone, on our defense will step up. We've got tons of young guys, one of them are bound to do something. I'd guess Chinny Ndukwe, Ahmad Brooks, Odell Thurman (breaking out again, if he even plays haha), Johnathan Joseph or Leon Hall. I'm obviously not saying they'll all break out but one of them is bound to. They've all shown glimpses, maybe the new DC can make the most out of them.

Barnes tears it up in preseason, he very well might just need an opportunity in the regular season to show what he's got

Homer Pick:
LaMarr Woodley ~ He didn't start a game all season, and in playing 1/8th the snaps he had 6.0 sacks. He missed 3 games, and was a backup playing literally 1/8th the snaps of Clark Haggans. Next year with a firm understanding of the playbook and the opportunity to see more field time, He could end up with 10-15 sacks. Not to mention they won't be able to focus so much on James Harrison anymore.
Non-Homer:
Paul Posluszny, Bills ~ Was playing great ball until his injury, i think this offseason with an even more firm understanding of the playbook could come in and really be that run stopping force the Bills need.
Lastly...
Nick Barnett ~ He's probably already considered "Breakout" but I hope next year he actually gets recognized for his ridiculously high level of play.

I really hope you're right about that, obviously after the giants game where he allowed 5 sacks on national TV everyone in the country thinks hes a bust but he actually looked pretty good at RT rather than LT in the last game of the season so I hope with more experience under his belt he can still have a good career.

Thank You. Though he's really been "broken out" since his rookie year. The media just hasn't jumped on his nuts like they have Lofa Tatupu.

Thank Both of you, i got into an arguement with a Seahawks today. I told him that Lofa was only in the pro bowl due to popularity. Barnett has had 100 tackles in every year hes been in the league.
For Packers
Rodgers if Favre retires
James Jones
Daryn Colledge
Justin Harrell
Aaron Rouse or Atari Bigby

Not saying Barnett doesn't deserve it, but Pro Bowl voting shouldn't necessarily take prior success into account. That's when it becomes biased ... but thats what it is so whatever. Nevermind.

How about this, in threads like this. Don't pick someone from your team. For the most part, The title of this thread should be "I'm a homer, and can only name people on my team."

Thats ridiculous, I could probably name at least 10 people in the NFL who aren't on the eagles. ;)

Here are my homer picks, because apparently no one thinks anyone on the Jaguars will improve.
- Justin Durant and Daryl Smith. I consider Daryl long-since broken out, but if he logs an entire season at middle linebacker with Mike Peterson possibly moving on to another team or perhaps relegated to a reserve role, he could log statistics among the best in the NFL.
Likewise, Justin Durant is an immensely talented young player and I see him finally being recognized as such. Both will log 100-tackle seasons next year, and I think if Daryl goes a full year in the middle, he could log over 140.
