Dwayne Bowe would be a great fit for them at 24

I think WR was a consideration in the first round, even if Chad Jackson was healthy. Bowe and Ginn Jr. would likely be possibilities if they are still around. I think Craig Davis will garner consideration, as will guys like Johnnie Lee Higgin and Anthony Gonzalez. Meachem might get some consideration. I think Rice is probably a no (not a fit for the scheme), and not sold on Jarrett as a fit either for the scheme.

Well at least now the Pats don't have the excuse of "we just drafted Jackson in the 2nd round last year."
Now they really need a WR.

yea just imagne what he and Brady could do... but I think they should take a LB and a WR in the first round now. The only reason i say WR in the first is that Chad is out. Bowe IMO is a good fit.

he missed training camp with a hammy...and then hurt a groin mid season..didnt really learn the offense and didnt play much. he played early and caught 3 TDs and they looked great but talent alone doesnt win u anything with Belichick
no 1 is sure if its an ACL..theres 2 different things saying
-torn ACL .. not in danger of missing season but should miss offseason workouts/passing camp
and
-torn achilles tendon
2 different injuries being reported..not sure which 1 is right

I wish Jeff Samardzija would have chosen football. I thought he was the second best receiver of this draft and some team would end up getting a steal in the late first/early second.

They aren't going to trade up that high. They would have to give up so much to get into Calvin Johnson range, and they aren't solid enough to get by with just a few picks in the draft.

HAHAHA poor Rams. My buddy is a fan and it sucks to watch the Super Bowl with him and see him cringe every time Adam Vinatieri holds up the Lombardi Trophy
