I don't know why he wasn't.

Rod Woodson:

1163 Tackles, 987 Solo, 250 Passes Defensed, 13.5 Sacks, 71 INT's, 12 TD's.

Sanders:

513 tackles, 429 Solo, 123 Passes defensed, 1 Sack, 53 INT's, 9 TD's.

He was a better PR.

CB stats are ridiculously overblown.

Sure, strictly from looking at numerical stats you can try and make the case that Woodson was better than Sanders. But when it comes to the CB position, there's so much more to it than raw stats.

There's no stats out there for blanketing receivers and shutting them down, which is a CB's #1 priority.

But they have the Gritz Blitz!

Glanville's 77 squad had the stingiest defense yet seen in the Super Bowl era. Some of their stats are ridiculous.

DeAngelo Hall is probably the only player on the current roster with a shot at the Hall of Fame, unless Michael Boley, Chris Houston, etc explode. And even he will probably leave.

Tommy Nobis should be in. He was unselfish and did not have that flashy personality. Larry Csonka said he would rather play Dick Butkas rather than Tommy Nobis. The guy should get in.

That is stats, that doesnt mean crap when it comes to a DB. The reason Sanders has less tackles and everything else is because no QB was dumb enough to throw his way. He was like glue on wideouts, Sanders was the best CB ever.
