Homer pick:
Joey Harrington
Other:
David Garrard - has received minimal credit for what was an unexpectedly impressive season.
(ok, i may have been joking about Harrington. I'll take Jon Babineaux.)

James Butler? LOL.
I'm sorry, but that isn't even close to being true. James Butler is by far one of the, if not the, worst safety in the NFL. He's a joke in coverage. He's tall and can tackle, but that doesn't make him good.
I suppose that's not a terrible list, but some of those don't make sense.
I really feel like Brian Westbrook is underrated still, despite making the Pro-Bowl. It just seems like when you mention the top backs in the NFL he doesn't get mentioned much.
Meh, maybe it's just me.

^ I agree Brian Westbrook is one of the best "all round" backs in the NFL...i'd say top 3 at least!
Steelers: James Farrior, Ike Taylor, Aaron Smith, Santonio Holmes, Lamarr Woodley! ;)

I <3 you. Westbrook is so underrated it's ridiculous. The dude is the only semblance of a playmaker we had this year on offense. He ***** on people left and right. He had 1333 yards rushing on 4.8 ypc and 7 TD and then added a hohum 90! catches for 771 yards and 5 more TD. I've got a ridiculous mancrush on him, and so does everybody in Philly.
Others include Andre Johnson, Trent Cole, Asomugha, Keith Bulluck and others I can't think of right now.

On the Pats, Kevin Faulk I think.
He's not a big star, when, in critical moment, you need him, he answers well.

Atlanta Falcons
Jonathan Babineaux
Michael Boley
DeAngelo Hall
Lawyer Milloy
Roddy White
Babineaux is one of the best penetrating run stoppers in the league.
Boley is just a beast all around.
Hall is said to be overrated but everyone says he sucks and he had his best year last year.
Lawyer Milloy is very good. Good against the run and still has a burst.
Roddy White had over eighty catches and 1,200 yards with Joey Harrington, Byron Leftwich, and Chris Redman at QB.

I could not agree more......Everyone says he is one of the top 3 CB's in the league......He does have all the tools to be a top 3 CB he is just not showing it. I mean S.Smith played with his head so bad. He did not even have to catch the ball to get big yardage from him......

He didnt have to catch the ball to get yardage? Serious? Maybe something like: He couldnt catch the ball with Hall on him.
The general perception of Hall has been that he is overrated and constantly gets burned. It makes sense to say that after his 2nd year when he had a very off year. This past year though, he played lights out. While being manned up often, he gave up 1 TD and didnt get burned much either. The biggest play I remember him giving up was the 30ish yard pass to Anthony Gonzalez, and he might have been funneling him to the safety, I dont know.
And in regards to the penalties and the Panthers game. I know that he got very emotional, but to say that he lost the game for them is stupid. He absolutely shut down Steve Smith the rest of the 55 minutes of the game. And also, the last penalty was complete BS. Steve Smith was in his face as much as Hall was.

I guess i just expect more out of him.. Im a D. Hall fan and he is not playing like I know he can. So I dont think he is underrated its my opinion. And giving up yardage from penalties is just as bad as getting beat......But I would love for you to tell me how he is underrated......

Last year was his big recogniton year, this year was a bit of a dropoff but still very good. People overreacted to his dip in production after his big contract, but he had a solid year all around in a year where he saw his role increased as a leader and a defender. Sacks were down, but he was a force all over the field. Picked it up more later in the season, but a good year as a whole. I'm not sure what the wide opinion would be of him right now, he has as much of a reputation for excellence as anyone you'll find from Buffalo, but I know I'm still as high on him as I've ever been.

I think Driver is underrated and Jennings is a little overrated for the Pack. Also Pickett is key to our defense which played really well last year, I think he deserves some recognition.
Also the coaches (and pro bowl voters) seem to think Harris > Woodson, but I would disagree.
