Hopefully we'll be able to replace Davis easily. I like to see him named "Director of Player Development".

I just assumed we'd draft someone and make him spend all training camp practicing it with the promise of a $700,000 contract if he got it right. Assuming we don't find one right away that is.
It's not like you need to find a guy with a physical gift for long snapping.

Why spend a draft pick on a long snapper when we signed one, and if we don't like him that much and want to get another why draft one? I doubt a LS is high on any teams draft board, almost all of the LS will probably go undrafted so we could just sign one of the young guys after the draft and use the pick somewhere else.

I wouldn't doubt bringing in one of the young long snappers, we drafted Crosby after having Rayner. I wouldn't doubt it.

We could bring one in but we're not gonna draft one. Crosby was great value last year and Rayner wasn't anything special anyway. Kicker is a more important position as well, its a totally different situation imo.

He also is credited for inventing pass patterns.

;D
I loved Rob Davis, but I'd like our third TE or a 5th DE that was the LS. That kid Bienneman a couple of years ago was a pick I wanted for the Packers. LS doesn't ever excite, but I still remember the Giants losing games due to their LS problems.

Cheesus Christ, a page and a half on a long snapper? Things are getting really slow.
