Trading round 1 pick for Roy Williams

Do you think you guys would possibly trade your 1st rounder for Williams. He is said to be traded and a 1st rounder would most definately do it. I dont see any other WRs worth taking at the 24th spot unless Desean Jackson were to fall to them.

There is about a 3% chance Matt Millen decides to trade Roy Williams. Don't get carried away here . . .

Nah, the 1st will probably be used on a defender. Plus, I think 24th overall may not do it anyway (I can see a team slightly earlier doing it if the Lions are interested in just a 1st).

We see this often though - all these trade talks that amount to nothing. Some amount to something like the Bailey/Portis rumors and the Moss to Raiders rumors, but they're often fluff with no basis. I think Roy Williams being traded is a pretty 'fluff' trade that won't end up happening. Even if it does happen, I think Detroit would prefer a player anyway. That defense could really use a proven vet like Jason Taylor etc.

Now, Shaun Rogers on the other hand......
