I am going to go with an unlikely guess: Asante to the Cowboys.

i also believe if the skins cant work out a deal for chad that they will go hard at briggs, snyder and cerrato have been enamored with him for a couple of years now and it would be a good pickup cause our olb's are depleted right now

What is your LB core right now? London Fletcher, Rocky McIntosh...? HB Blades?

The Rams will sign Alge Crumpler cuz he is a TE.

Marcus Washington, Fletch, and McIntosh.
Washington came off of double(?) hip surgery and played pretty well last year. Fletcher is getting old, but he's still nasty. McIntosh got hurt late last year, and is probably going to miss at most half of next season. Blades looks promising, he played a little bit of every LB position last year. But he's really a pure MLB.

That's not a bad guess, though I doubt they can afford him and Newman.

And we are going to have to resign Newman next year I believe, so I doubt Jerry tosses his money around there, we would more likely overpay Stallworth or Berrian.

Berrian is going to be so overpaid during this FA. I have a feeling. I don't think he's a star WR but people will pay him like 1.

Asante to the Jets
&
Zach Thomas to the Colts or Cowboys

Not to pick on your post, but I find it highly unlikely Zach Thomas ends up with the Colts or Cowboys.

Here's the bigger question:
Which worthless backup will the Vikings sign and make a starter?

Sean Payton said in his end of the season press conference that we need to get younger on defense and will not be afraid to go out and get a playermaker on offense or defense in FA.. Saints are 25mil under the cap, so I would like to see us sign Alan Faneca, Corey Williams, Lance Briggs, Marcus Trufant or Asante Samuel
Did Nnamdi Asomugha get franchised yet? I would give that guy 100 million dollar contract

N.A. is NOT worth 100 mil. I know we have been hurting for a corner for a long long time, he just isn't worth that. I'd take Trufant and Briggs instead of just N.A. I doubt any of this will happen but it would be nice.

Bah. I like Colston, but Berrian wouldn't take a backseat to him. He's the better player.

Yeah, I wouldn't really pay him that much money. But he would be my #1 target if he hit the open market.

What makes Berrian better than Colston?
