its to bad they have a sucky HC to ruin there development.
Id probably be pissed off about this, but seeing as how Ive been a Raider fan my whole entire life Im used to this **** happening. All I gotta say is these signings better work.

Harris probably wont be a tackle unless we move McQuistan back to G.
I think I saw a report that said Cable told Gallery hed be staying at G.
This leaves Mario Henderson as the only guy who could be LT for us.I actually wish we still had Sims.

I havent seen too many people give the Raiders a LT in a mock but it should be high up there on the list, the line isnt as bad as it was a few years ago, but Russel really should have a primiere LT in there instead of having to worry about getting hit every time he drops back, thats the fastest way to ruin his development.

Honestly, we're all ragging on Harris, and deservingly given his play at times ... but I actually feel sorry for the big lug now. I hope he does turn it around for the better in Oakland.

There are five million reasons (per year), I don't feel sorry for him. Is this what the NFL has become? Where players who are downright bad are getting tens of millions of dollars? This is the kind of thing I used to make fun of the NBA for.

I actually like Walker going to Oakland. He gives Jamarcus a really good target to grow with. If Walker can stay healthy then he should have a good year.
But the money he got was WAY to much. Oakland must have a crap load of money to spend?

I realize the Redskins have made some bad moves but the Raiders take the cake this off-season. You can make an argument that they have way overpaid in all their signings.

If he got another WR in the later rounds I'd be happy.

My only response to that is that Harris is not guaranteed a starting spot. I hope...
Maybe, just maybe, Tom Cable can bring him back from the dead in the same way he has begun to rejuvenate Gallery's career.

Speaking of Gallery, have they stopped moving him to new positions? I mean, has he played Wide Receiver yet?

Yeah, with the release of Barry Sims, people were asking Kiffin if Gallery was going to play LT. Kiffin flatout said that Gallery is staying at LG and that was the end of the discussion.
I'm a little torn--a part of me wants to see Gallery become a Pro Bowl LT, but the other (more rational) side of me sees the need to keep Gallery at LG so that he can finally stay in the same spot 3 years in a row.

I think they'll try him as a DE now... The old 'If you can't beat-em, join-em'-tactic.

Haha! Gallery has had a couple sacks by himself, tripping his own QBs... If he's getting those sacks without even trying, imagine what he could do actually trying to get to the QB.
