Of course, LeMar Marshall at MLB is a joke, he is a poor man's Adalius Thomas and should only play MLB, that fact that he played MLB is a direct correlation with our defensive failures.

If the Redskins dont do anything up front to keep the O-line from getting up field they might as well leave Fletcher alone. He is at his best when he can roam around the field making plays, if he has to fight off blocks its a no win situation.

If Fletcher has Branch and Griffin protecting him he can really thrive, and Kedric he's way underrated.

Don't forget about Montgomery. I think this guy will be special, we drafted him pretty raw but he is a huge space eater with a decent motor. His mechanics are just bad.

The one thing about Fletcher that Chris Brown, reporter for BuffaloBills.com, pointed out is that he really doesn't attack the ball, which is what the Bills defense is all about. Fletcher racks up alot of tackles but barely any are for loss, the majority come after the ball-carrier has run 4 or 5 yards.

I just want to point out for all the Dan Snyder haters that the Colts spent much more money last year on payroll than the Redskins did.
Bet you didn't know that did you?

This makes no sense. Fletcher is a MLB and they already have a competent starter in LeMar Marshall. Why don't the Skins try drafting some good players and keeping their picks instead of giving them away for marginal old players and signing aging stars that are past their prime. If he goes to Washington, things won't work out one way or another.

However, they doled out a lot of that to retain continuity. They are a draft-based team, first and foremost. Whereas the Redskins operate in a revolving door of 'big name' free agents. While completely discarding the NFL draft. Which is why the Colts are the most successful team year in, year out. Culminating in a Super Bowl championship. While the Redskins have struggled to have any sort of success.
BTW - Yes, I did know that in fact.

Marshall is undersized and too slow to play MLB. The guy got trampled every play by a RB or FB. At least Fletcher is a natural MLB and a great on the field general. Plus he knows G.William's defense from Buffalo.

I'd love to see the numbers, if you have them.
Btw, I think the Redskins are going to improve next year. Al Saunders' offense takes at least a year to take effect, the team finally began the Jason Campbell era, Clinton Portis will be able to start the season healthy unlike in 2006, and with what I think will be a 1st round pick in Alan Branch to anchor the middle of the defensive line and improve all three levels of defense if he stays healthy, it wouldn't surprise me if the Redskins get back to a Wild Card spot as they did in 05.
The NFC East will still be competitive, but I foresee Dallas and Big Blue stumbling just a bit thanks to critical factors.
