Tough call but my preference is Jamaal Anderson.
From the poll my list would be:
1. Anderson
2. Branch
3. Willis
4. Adams
In no way, shape or form should the Skins draft CJ, IMO. Use him as trade bait in a draft day trade, sure but don't draft him. The defense needs help on so many levels that trading down to get extra picks would be my preferred strategy.

I have wanted alan branch for sometime now.. however, Jamaal Anderson is slowly starting to move up. Gaines Adams would be a train wreck, i think. Absolutely not on Calvin Johnson if he's there and we don't trade down... oh god.

The things I like about Gaines Adams was hes so quick. He ran a 4.6 40 yard dash and did well in the shuttle drills. Its a tough call still, since Jamaal Anderson opted not to take part in the combine and wait for pro day. Right now my board for who I hope the Redskins draft,
1) Gaines Adams
2) Jamaal Anderson
3) Leon Hall
4) Alan Branch
In the case the Redskins trade down for additional picks, I would hope to pickup Chris Houston CB, Arkansas.

1.Branch
2.Okoye
3.Carriker
4.Andersen
5.Adams
Best case scenario: trade down still get Okoye or Carriker who will provide great run defense. The NFC East has one of the best group of running backs and teams known for pounding the ball. Adams and Carter would be a great rushing duo, but could easily be run over. Andersen has only had one good college season and did not preform in the combine which dropped his stock in my books.
Okoye or Branch would provide great help along side Griffen and lots of room for our MLB to roam and make plays. I think Carriker would be the best fit at DE because he is a nice big standard 4-3 DE. He could command double teams and create 1v1 chances with Carter on the other side. Plus the guys fast aswell. His 40 time may not have been the best, but in every other drill for DE's he was in the top 3. The guy has great burst off of the line, and fast for his size.
Plus we could trade down and get maybe a 2nd - 4th round pick.

Workout warriors scare me.. I'm not sure if that's a good term to describe him as.. but i had never heard of him prior to his combine numbers.
I think drafting any DB in this draft is a bad idea.. this seems like such a poor DB class.. i like Leon Hall if we trade down and i like Brandon Merriweather if we pick up a late first or a second.
If we stay at 6 it's like this for me right now:
1 Alan Branch
2 Jamaal Anderson
3 Amobi Okoye
4 Landry
5 Carriker
I'm going to say Calvin Johnson will suck in the NFL just because everyone thinks he's such a big deal. I'm tired of hearing how he's the second coming of jesus christ. "The Perfect Prospect"..... god. I will admit i've only seen him play like twice.. but still. I don't think he's as godly as everyone makes him out to be. I would be disapointed if we didn't trade down if he fell to us..

First of Calvin Johnson is the best WR prospect since Andre Johnson, he will be a perrenial pro bowl end of question. As for Gaines Adams cmon you can't call him a work out warrior and shocked you don't know who he is. Gaines was productive throughout college and put up the numbers and the entire year was regarded as the clear cut top DE prospect before Anderson declared. Problem with Gaines is he is a passrushing specialist and won't help out with the run much. I am one who is in favor of Anderson because he is a true well rounded freak. He will bring the passrush as he had 13.5 sacks this pass year but he will also help out against the run.

Nah dude, what i'm saying is that Houston guy the DB.. i never heard of him pre-combine.
As per gaines i've said it before, he's a poor man's Dwight Freeney... he's not bad... but he does absolutely nothing against the run. That's why i like Jamaal Anderson more... hence, he's #2. I feel Daniels is Adequete.. nothing special.. but adequete.. which is why i lean towards drafting Branch who would instantly make Griffin and Carter vastly better. Gregg Williams has been quoted as saying Griffin is the most important plyer on the D. He said it after the or before the BS Tampa game where Allstott got in but really didn't.
Let me take you back now for a ******... journey with back a few years. If you'll remember Robert Gallery.. remember when he was a sure thing, a definite pro bowler future hof. That's all i have to say to this.

Ehh?
I still value Carriker over Landry, unless we dump Springs.

alright you keep saying calvin johnson will suck just because hes hyped, that makes a lot of sense, youve seen 2 games dont say something like that..... hes probably the best reciever to come out in 5 or some years, 6-5 240 4.35 great hand and a team role model, nothing wrong with that that spells greatness if he were somehow to fall to us which wont happen we have to take him

Yeah, i like to think so.
How many games have you seen Calvin Johnson play in?
Robert Gallery had all the physical tools and was good off the field... what has he done? Just because you precieve Calvin Johnson as the greatest reciever to come out in 5 years doesn't mean it's true. I pray we trade down if he falls to us.. he's the type of player that we could make bank on. A la Ricky Williams.. good move us BTW.

you do have a good point, but Gruden likes offence, and he likes Johnson as well. Redskins need a Defensive line to have a chance for the NFC East.
