I don't care if it is just for one player, you can either have a pic of him from HS or wait til he goes pro...that's just unacceptable
you don't see any USC or Michigan fans with Clausen sigs, or Michigan fans with Beanie sigs...it's just not right

Alot of tossup games
|
Well I'll attempt to toss them for you.
SDSU: W-No explanation needed
Michigan: L- Michigan's defense will destroy NDs **** offensive line
@MSU: L- Constant Spartan blitzes kill Clausen and Ringer finishes it offensively
Purdue: L- Good talent, offense will rip apart Notre Dame
Stanford: W/L- Only true toss up game. Cardinal are well coached and have better talent that given credit for
@UNC: L- Much improved from last year, Marvin Austin will eat Clausen alive, and Nicks+Tate in the air, to go along with Little on the ground, do good enough to beat the Irish
@Washington: L- Won't be able to stop Locker
Pittsburgh: L- McCoy runs all over them
@BC: L- BC loses offensive core, but still has dominant defense
@Navy: L- Lost head coach, but not the system that should befuddle the all wise Weis
Syracuse: W- They suck
@USC: L- No explanation needed

haha I can talk all I want, it's not my problem what your sig makes other people think, I just think it's hilarious...I'm just pointing out that almost any other fan of teams would not have their rival depicted in that way

So I assume you personally know Charlie, seeing as how you know how extremely arrogant he is.

I don't think there's any way ND does as bad this year, which is a pretty obvious assumption, but IMO I see them with 5-7 wins, with a couple surprises (like MSU or Purdue, even though I think both will win easily), some disappointments (UNC)

8-4.

You still don't have an offensive line to protect Clausen or to open holes for Aldridge. Michigan has more experience than you at the WR/RB spots, but that doesn't mean they will do anything because our OL sucks too.
Plus, Michigan's D is definitely better than Notre Dame's D.

Anyone that has a sig of a rival team's player should DEFINITELY have their fanhood questioned.

It will be the first game in NCAA to have a score of 1-0.

he shouldn't have predicted anything then. no point in giving your fans false hope.
they could surprise this year for all we know, i've seen crazier things happen.

The thing is, he didn't come out and say to the national media "We're going to win 9-12 games". This is stuff he's been telling his coaches and such, leading me to believe he actually thinks he's going to win 9-12 games without an offensive line, among other things.

Did ND get anyone to upgrade their OL? And on defense, all I know is they lost Trevor Laws and Tom Zbikowski (not much of a loss on that one). Is there anyone on that D that's good besides the unusually awesome Maurice Crum?

That FS is pretty good. Although it wont matter with a guard coming up to pancake him because the front seven can't stop ****.

6-6, with swing games against Michigan, MSU, Washington, Pitt and Navy.
Oh I love Notre Dame delusion.
|
So, Michigan, MSU, Washington and Pitt are all swing games, yet you have no problem declaring them as losses. If ND were to win all of your swing games (which you must admit is possible, or you can't call them swing games) they'd finish the year 10-2. I don't at all see this happening, but 8-9 wins is not out of the question. I'm thinking they'll go 7-5 or 8-4.

Again, what kind of head coach goes out there and says, "damn, those USC, Purdue, Michigan and Washington squads are too tough for us to beat. Let's just focus on SDSU this year."
Any coach that doesn't believe he will win every game on the schedule, or at least try to convince everyone else in the locker room of this, should be fired.

Well of course I'm going to put them as losses ;)
Can you answer my question about the OL/defense? I'm usually good at knowing what's up with ND, but right now all I know is their punting yardage from last year ;)

It really wouldn't shock me to see Notre Dame beat Michigan, they had a ridiculous amount of young players last year and now they have experience in the system and on the field. Michigan has a bunch of new guys learning a new offense, Notre Dame has a much better chance of getting to 9 wins than Michigan does.
Also, adding Tenuta is going to be huge for that defense, even with mediocre players the defense is going to be infinitely better than it was last year.

This is simply blind hatred for ND. Every prediction centers on ND not getting any better, but every team around them either improving, or it not mattering that they're worse.

But it doesn't matter, since neither of them will. Returning starters are good and all, but if they suck, who cares? Johnny Sears was a returning DB for Michigan last year. He's 50% of the reason we lost to Appalachian State and Oregon. While ND does have Clausen, Aldridge/Hughes/Allen, Kamara, and pretty much their entire OL (I believe) they haven't done anything to warrant being mentioned as good.
