I voted for St.Louis

Also, from #24 on, I think you should include Tampa Bay in your poll. I think they're going to have a down year in 08.

Ravens or Bears for me. Pretty much a toss-up. You can't win in this league if you can't move the ball.

Rams should've been gone at 27, imo.

Except for those years where the Ravens won the Superbowl and the Bears made it. And the years where they won their divisions. Other than that sure.

So the Ravens didn't win a Superbowl with Trent Dilfer and the Bears made one with Rex Grossman? I didn't know that being a homer included stating basic facts.

I would consider both super bowl years for their respective teams to be better offenses than the 08' year offense.

The Ravens offensive line from '00 was certainly better, but other than that there's no much of a difference (at least on paper of course)

The Bears, on the other hand, really aren't that much different. We're arguably weaker at the receiver position, but stronger at tight end. The quarterbacks are the same, but with more experience. The line is essentially the same, with Chris Williams and Josh Beekman replacing Fred Miller and Reuben Brown, and Jones-Benson isn't all that different than Jones-Forte.

I'm not saying the Bears will make the Superbowl, or even have a winning record, but you don't need much of an offense to do well in this league if you have an amazing defense. You really can't say the other way around. Which is why I voted for the Rams.

No difference from '00 to '08? Are you kidding? Troy Smith at QB?

Bears and Ravens were both average or slightly above average offenses when they made the Super Bowl. This year, both teams look to be capable of being bottom five offenses. Watch some 49ers games the past few seasons and you'll see what you have to look forward to.

Ok so I've gathered you're a Packers fan. That explains somewhat.

What's the big difference between the above-average Bears offense of '06 but the terrible abysmal offense of '08? Thomas Jones? How's he doing on the Jets? Moose? We had Moose last year and he was terrible. Marty Booker is actually an improvement. Fred Miller? Mmm..nope. Bernard Berrian? I like Berrian a lot, but he's not that big of a difference.

We've also added a fair amount of young talent to replace those older guys we've lost. So I fail to see how things have fallen off so much, and I'm guessing you have no answer either.

Our offense looked good in 05-06 becuase our defense was incredible. When our defense sucked last year it made our offense look as bad as it always was. If our defense improves we start winning again. It's really not that complicated.

Personally, I expect to see more improvement from the Rams this year than most other teams. Sure, they could be injury riddled again, but I'm not going to count on it.

I went with the Jets.

Sorry, I can't really take you and your homerism seriously...especially after your comments about the '00 Ravens offence being basically the same as the '08 Ravens offense. You really expect to win with Rex Grossman as your QB, Matt Forte as your RB, and Devin Hester as your #1 WR? Why even bother discussing this?

I'm not a Packers fan either.

Great comeback. You've essentially set up a dual argument that you can't defend.

1) The Bears had an above-average offense in 2005 and 2006.

2) The Bears offense, although primarily the same, is going to be terrible this year. Which is why they won't be any good.

And I'm actually NOT defending the Bears. I'm criticizing the Bears of 2006, which if you rubbed a few brain cells together you could probably figure out.

But that's ok, me being a Ravens homer is clearly impeding my ability to discuss the Bears, or something like that....

God I hate new people.

1) The Bears had an above-average offense in 2006. I think they played about their heads for most of that season. They mostly relied on a consistent rushing attack, which they don't have anymore.

2) They are not the same. No team is the same 2 years later, even if the personnel is the exact same (which they aren't in this case anyway).

You're not defending the Bears? Riiiiight.

You saying that '00 Ravens offense is basically the same as the '08 Ravens offense just shows that you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Really, how did you come up with such an outlandish statement?

God I hate homers.

I didn't say it was basically the same, I said it was basically the same in talent outside of the offensive line. Both have very average receivers, both had awful quarterbacks, both have really good runningbacks. The only difference is if they can find a quarterback that isn't mentally ******** and can run block. That's it. You're making it way more complicated than it really is. The 2000 Ravens were Jamal Lewis and beating the crap out of people. That's the formula. The difference is that their defense is a shell of what it used to be, which you totally missed on.

And you're right, two things are never the same, which is why the Dolphins and the Bucs will face off in the Superbowl. Cause **** it, anything can happen.

I think the Bengals should be the next team added to the list. Their defense is vomiting awful.

Their offense is still light-years ahead of the next three teams that will be voted. They have talent on defense, so that alone should get them SOME production.
